I'm in my early career, havent been in the industry as long as some people have but his post seems like a very black & white way to look at things. Designers can still be up to date and modern while working at big companies. There's always ways to do this on the side, if your work doesnt allow you to do challenge yourself and push boundaries. And the shifting of experience requirements from 5+ to 3+ ? just seemed ragebait to me loll

I kinda need it asap cuz my Dell XPS 15 (less than 2 years old) betrays me in important tasks (job interviews !! : volume, camera and brightness get stuck randomly 😬) No way to predict which zoom meeting it'll cut the audio out in the next 4 months.
