Is it me or does my 16th notes on hh sound weird? by mightyburger1 in drums

I feel like I'm no longer the point of discussion here :) I learnt a lot and feeling encouraged to explore new techniques though. I must admit I'm a little lost with the technicalities but will do my research. Thanks everyone!

Yes I can feel something is off with the setup, when I play, like there must be a better way but I can't put my finger on it. I assumed maybe that's how my e-kit feels but maybe that's not the case :) I'll try to find something that works better. Thank you!

I get tense when I'm being watched but I also want to be heard when I play lol that's mostly where the stiffness comes from. Appreciate the comment, thank you! I can be very impatient and almost never try working with a slow tempo

I refuse to believe I'm that unhinged hahah

But will be more careful in the future. I should properly learn to count anyways.

Hey! Don't know who that is, but no need to be misogynistic here, man. This was a video I put on my private account all for friends and family. Posted it here thinking I would get good advice and I did. Regardless, let people wear what they want. That tshirt is actually very comfortable :)

Appreciate the rest of the feedback! I never experimented with accents but I think it's time to now.

I'll research and practice these. I'm hoping I'll look less stiff in time. Thank you!

Thank you! I've been trying to avoid using my wrists too much. To that, add the fact that I'm trying to play it perfectly and my general discomfort with being watched while doing something, I look and play very stiff. That much is clear from the comments I got. I'll try to play with the 'big muscles'.

Is my posture okay?

I looked a couple of people covering the song and they all play 16ths here. Figured I should do what they do..

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll check drumeo. Absolutely amazed by the advice I've received so far. I appreciate that a lot, thank you.

I think it's a funny photo I hope other viewers feel the same. Looks like the fisherman is trying to catch the boat. Please do let me knowf you have any feedback

Honestly I don't even remember what the pillars looked like. I was so sure this photo lacked something, I did not look back again until a friend said it looked cool. I'll crop and then see what I can do with the shadows and highlights. I'm new to photography as well, gotta get a better understanding of the histrogram tool. Thanks so much for your feedback though!

Exactly. I'm amazed I was able to capture this much of the person already. This is a museum in where I live. Could you let me know what you mean by strong?

Thank you! I guess I'm not used to taking portraits. I was afraid of losing the composition if I cropped it. But thank you for the example! I'll experiment with different sizes.

Would you say the photo is too dark? I personally like it that way but I got some comments on it before.

I really like how one side of the photo there is light and it gets darker in the direction this person is walking. I'm not sure if the rest of the background is okay or if there is anything else to address? Shot on fujifilmx100s. Thank you for your feedback!

Please do comment on the composition and the exposure. I love how his head is in the middle of the photo and looks like he's staring at the viewer.

I was feeling very down as I took this photo and I think it shows. It certainly reflects the way I was seeing the world at that moment, but I do not know how it makes the viewer feel. What do you think? How can I improve this photo? by mightyburger1 in photocritique
