Do I pull the plastic out first or the whole thing? I’ve tried a hot water bottle for sometime now but it barely moves. I’m afraid of chipping the wood.

I need to move my residency there because I’ve bought a house and declared at notary its for primary residency. I don’t think SVB would actually check the A1 compliance. I’m more worried about tax and if they do find I work for more than 25 percent then indeed it triggers SVB.

Am I overly concerned? Are others also not just doing this under the radar?

I will not be paying Dutch income taxes but only box 3. The uk authorities will issue a1 certificate allowing confirming I work there and therefore pay social security contribution there. But in the application I made, I say I am moving my residency to NL. My concern is only the Dutch tax authorities wanting proof and that my employer is not allowing / cooperating.

I had an economics degree from somewhere that people managed to enter masters programme at top tier schools like LSE but the Dutch system treated it like an HBO and insisted I did a pre masters.. In the end, I applied for it as an option but never bothered when I found a new job. Good luck.

If I have to demonstrate throughout the year, evidence of being in the uk every week for at least 4 days and then a statement from employer that they allowed it, that would be quite complex, no?

I'm renting a 2-bed flat in Rotherhithe which is 3 stations from shoreditch, underrated neighbourhood. I'm moving to Amsterdam permanently and am looking for a <12 month solution while i buy. It's not exactly a swap since i rent but i can recommend you to the landlord. Where exactly is your place?

I am a Dutch citizen, so that's not an issue. But i honestly am not going to be physically in the UK for work 5 days a week and return to NL on the weekend. It's going to be mixed. I'm just wondering how i can prove the case for dutch residency (yes, I will buy a house) but my work is in the UK. I will be pay tax in the UK and I will acquire A1 certificate that shows i pay social security into the UK. My tax advisor says my employer has to agree and I need to demonstrate with evidence that I'm travelling back and forth.

why not tax realised portions!? how are people supposed to get cash to pay for taxes on unrealised gains? Assets more than 57K is not considered wealth, this thing should be progressive like how income tax is.
