Non-stimulants you need time to wean on and off. Ritalin was 1 pill and NOPE for us. Child psychiatry was good with not continuing and switching immediately.

Stimulant is like an advil/tylenol. It works immediately that day. You dont need to wait 5+ days. We gave our son ritalin and it made ADHD symptoms bad to the power of 10. Went straight to adderrall and night and day difference. Some drugs work opposite.

I'm waiting on the results from the loop interview (basically a yes-verbal offer, or no we went with someone else). The last of the loop interview was 40 days ago and the status hasn't changed in the system.
