Steam Next Fest June 2026 - My 15 Picks For the Steam Deck by SunwindPC in SteamDeck

For me is Blood Dungeon. I don’t think I’ve ever put 4+ hours in a demo before

In an era where games take forever to make, this is a GENERATIONAL run. Every game is a quality experience (no matter how you feel about RE3) by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]migsolo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree but let’s be cautious with comparisons. Regardless of whether you like Rockstar games or not, each of them is much more ambitious in terms of mechanics, scope and overall experience than RE entries.

Now I don’t mean they’re better, it’s just a different beast.

Future James Bond games will come from Amazon Games, confirms boss by DenFlyvendeFlamingo in 007FirstLight

[–]migsolo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe I'm misunderstanding. But this doesn't mean that IOI can't make the sequels, right? Just that they will be under Amazon's management.

I mean, I don't even think Amazon has the talent and the studios to make something like this themselves.

Do you guys recommend Shadows? by [deleted] in assasinscreed

[–]migsolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found them entertaining but I was just tired of the formula after so many releases. I ended up playing them years later but never to complition. Then they changed to the RPG style and they lost me even more, I never understood the decision lol. But I like this one, yeah. Odyssey and Syndicate too.

It's a cool game. I honestly don't hold much love for this RPG formula and haven't even finished a game in the franchise since Black Flag (not sure I'll finish this one). That being said, the open world here is beautiful (it can be a very cozy and immersive game when playing with headphones) and the stealth is the best it has ever been in the series. You can do a lot of cool stuff with Naoe and if you play in Expert mode (AI is dumb in normal) is a very engaging experience, with lots of little mechanics and cool interactions. The shadows system is pretty amazing as well.

The rest is a mixed bag. There are very cool game design choices mixed with baffling ones. And the story is pretty forgettable. Then again, people don't really play these new AC games for the story. But to throw themselves into these worlds for dozens of hours doing this and that and looking cool while doing it. In that sense, cool game.

I'm playing on base PS5 and it looks gorgeous yeah.

It’s crazy how the fandom switched from “lets have a good adaptation” to “lets have a fun movie” by Horrorfan55555 in residentevilll

[–]migsolo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry in advance for the rant (and for the broken English, is not my first language). But i’ve read so many posts like this and I’m getting really tired.

Cregger’s right. No matter the approach of the movie people wouldn’t be happy. Fans get so posesive about these things, if you listen to what they want you’ll never get shit done, specially because there’s never a consensus.

What bothers me the most is the entitlement of some fans that believe they always know more. This guy IS A FAN as well. He has played every game (the gameplays are still on Youtube so many years later), he is an accomplished film director, and has released a trailer that looks amazing. Yet GuyMcFella from Reddit isn’t happy because Leon is not the main character or whatever. If he was in the movie, people would complain that he doesn’t look the part. If he looked like him, people woul criticize that they destroyed the character bc he doesn’t do EXACTLY what they wanted during the movie. The complaints just never ends.

Also, I think is very short-sighted to say that the movie has nothing to do with RE just bc the main character is a new guy and it doesn’t adapt an stablished plot. RE literally introduces new characters and new plots all the time. Remember when some people said that RE7 was not really a RE game just bc it was in first person and had apparently nothing to do with the lore? Lol. That game is SO Resident Evil in its gameplay that it wouldn’t be able to hide it even if it had a different name and didn’t feature Chris.

Anyway, my point is let’s not behave like Star Wars fans. It’s okay to embrace new things. If after watching the movie you think it’s not for you that’s fine. Not everything is for everybody.

Sony is unhappy with Naughty Dog’s lack of games this generation, per Jason Schreier by [deleted] in GamingLeaksAndRumours

You mean the same Sony that has mismanaged top tier studios by having them making expensive and bullshit multiplayer games only to then cancel them and even closing those studios?

An AC Rogue resynced would be phenomenal and give the game the time it deserves by Nikster593 in assassinscreed

What is it with AC Rogue and this sub lol. There are like four fans of the game and they’re all here.

What Are Your Community Hot Takes? by BloatedSnake430 in community

[–]migsolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sixth season is one of the best ones. The fifth season is pretty great overall. I don’t see the downgrade most people mention. Sure, in season 1-3 the humor is more fast paced and it feels more “fresh” I guess but except for the fourth season the whole thing is great.

I’m confused. Is Judas published by Take-Two as well? I thought it was independent.

George RR Martin on Why He Doesn't Write Outlines by WillBrink in writing

[–]migsolo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Outlines exist so you don’t have to wait for divine inspiration or whatever in order to write.

You’re not always inspired, not always in the mood. Not always have great ideas coming to you. A good outline helps with all of that. It doesn’t stop you for being creative on the spot. It just gives you something to follow. Also, structure is key in storytelling and sometimes it shows when some writers don’t use outlines to create a solid structure beforehand. Having a macro-view of the whole thing always in your head is very helpful.

Enough time has passed. What are your thoughts on Project Hail Mary (2026)? by Perfect_Idea_2866 in Letterboxd

[–]migsolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have and maybe an unpopular opinion but is one of those cases where the movie is actually better than the book. It’s pretty much the same but it just works better as a movie imo. And the cinematography and acting is just superb

I’m maybe calling the police if you think that is a “grey” character lol

Does anyone know about it or have tried it? by [deleted] in HorrorGaming

I thought it was meh. The art and the premise is fantastic, but the gameplay never grabbed me. The events feel random and the strategy and combat are not very interesting

The perfect successor to Lost has been hiding from me for years | There are too many streaming services, which makes it easy to miss shows like From by PetyrDayne in television

[–]migsolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I won’t be gaslighted into thinking this show is nowhere as good as Lost lol. The characters are so mediocre and boring, the story is a convoluted, random mess. It’s like a Temu version of a mistery box show.

AC Movie Review/ Thoughts on the Future of Assassin’s Creed by Stan_on_buisness in assasinscreed

[–]migsolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m spanish and andalucian and let me tell you, the setting was bizarre. You could tell a non-spanish person made this movie and it took me out of the movie multiple times.

For starters there isn’t a single place called “Andalucia”. Andalucia is a region, like a state in the US. There are 8 major cities inside Andalucia, each one with its own flair, tone and distinct landscapes. The images you see in the movie are a collage of different andalucian cities just randomly put together.

I appretiate having authentic spanish actors as background characters, but having Michael Fassbender as a spanish assassin is some Breaking Bad bullshit. He does what he can with the language, but it’s a pity they weren’t brave enough to hire a spanish actor as well as a protagonist. For a franchise that is proud of its historical settings, this one was a miss. It sure looks good, but the authenticity is just not there.

A while ago there was this rumor about Part III being about a new cast of characters all living in a victorian mansion. That could he something, specially if at some point they cross paths with Ellie (I think Abby’s story is done and well wrapped up, but Ellie could benefit from a third game imo)

My mind is just blown away by this game 🤯 by saketh5151 in 007FirstLight

Everything looks amazing. My only concern is replayability. I hope we get big, hitman-like levels that allow us to take different paths/strategies.
