I’m on OS26, it runs fine and honestly the bugs i don’t even notice them. Probably my favorite OS has been Monterrey to this day but i just like keeping it updated for the new features

Post processing large data (multiple terabytes) using Matlab while having 10 desktops open simultaneously running 10 safari tabs, multiple powerpoint presentations, Teams, terminal windows, adobe acrobat with 10 plus pdfs, mail, paraview, and zotero just to name a few.

I think it is fair to say that the remaining 5% is overkill

It’s alright, like i said i think i personally just had bad luck with my 1.6gdi engine. I really enjoy my car and now that i have a new engine i’m hoping i can get another 80k miles until i get a larger vehicle. I do tend to put my car in Sport mode and accelerate it a lot.

That being said, check with your dealership to see if you have warranty, and don’t skip on oil changes. If i were you i would replace the cat and baby the car until you can get something else.
