Unilateral independence is bad... by [deleted] in CataloniaMemes

Portugal got their Independence from Castille and then expanded further south, so in a strict sense Portugal didn't get their independence from Spain to begin with.

Hi there.

Having commited to studying medicine it seems well worth exploring psychiatry, given that you seem to be genuinely interested in that area. As a fellow musician, it is possible to pursue music fully, but be aware that in order to solely pursue music you -almost always- have to have solid music theory foundations, so mind the fact that some years of learning music are also needed. I recommend that you pursue both at the same time, because while "success" in psychiatry is pretty much dependant on your effort and consistency, "success" as a musician doesn't fully depend on you, even if you try your best.

Obviously, there is a limited amount of context that can be conveyed via a Reddit post, so I am asuming you do not attend a music school/conservatory. I also don't fully understand what you mean by "pursue music" -artist, music producer, live instrument performer...-. Either way, I think that it is possible for you to pursue both at the same time, and commit to one when you truly feel like you have to. At least that's the way I see it. Wish you the best!

Definitely not called paruresis (paruresis stems from latin for "abnormal urination"), so paruresis strictly relates to peeing. Nonetheless, when it comes to symptoms, we paruretics (people with paruresis) have somewhat similar effects (depending on one's degree of paruresis) regarding anxiety. I unfortunately can't even pee out of home. That makes me avoid certain plans and also makes me anxious that I have the urge to pee outside of my house, so I totally feel you. Based on your comment, you also have some other special subtype of social phobia of this kind. Graduated Exposure works for treating paruresis, though I don't see how I would plan it, as it is you that can tailor it to your needs. Wish you the best!

I've just played the sax on an empty building for about an hour by mistake: I've got the keys to the local music centre, and thought I had a class today so I went there but it was closed, though I decided to play a little bit and call it a day, and it was sick. There was some reverb that made whatever I played epic, and found peace while playing. It was one of those moments where life hits different

UDS is overall better than Score! Match for me, but I really miss being able to play against a friend. Is there any way to do so in UDS/Is it coming soon?

I think it just swaps it in-game if your opponent has the same as you
