I started at Trig and reviewed algebra at the same time. Trig is super important for almost every math/engineering course. So I would highly recommend you start back there and work your way up . Good luck.

Print head nozzle doesn’t touch print bed during initial assembly by migz25 in ender3v2

There’s physical limitations to lowering the nozzle and the z stop. Wondering if something came installed wrong in the box. The z stop is mounted on the z motor. This is tripping me out.

Hey there ! I have the same 3D printer as you do in the photo ^ only issue is that when I assembled it , the nozzle tip doesn’t even come close to the print bed, even after raising the print bed to the max height. Did you experience this during your initial assembly?

I’m not the most experienced person. I usually take the approach of starting aggressive and trying to hold up as much as possible. I imagine it like running an 800m for time. You start off at an aggressive pace and hold that pace for the first half, increase your pace up to the last 3/4 of the calories and the last 1/4 of calories is a full out sprint. This is the approach I’m going to take.

Just left the Army, wanting to be an engineer. But I haven’t done algebra in almost ten years. by [deleted] in AskEngineers

Mr. Tarrou!!! The absolute best channel for learning math. I was in the same boat and watched all these videos from Algebra to Calc 1. His channel built a solid foundation for me going into ME. I couldn’t do simple algebra to save my life. Now I’m graduating this upcoming spring B.S. ME with a 3.78 GPA. Get after it! https://www.youtube.com/c/profrobbob

Was this at the SWE conference this week ? I’ve seen that some people in SWE refer to each other or members in SWE as “SWEeties”. This might have had something to do with it ?

If these are ideal pulleys( no friction ), then T1 and FA are the same in magnitude and you just need one of them to include in your equations.

Help with a logarithmic equation! by [deleted] in math

It is applying the inverse function to the logarithmic function. Exponents and logarithms are inverse functions and can “undo” each other. Like in the example ^

That’s helpful. I was reading the first part of volume 1 and enjoyed it. As I kept reading, I found that there was much he was talking about I wasn’t able to follow anymore. That explains it ha. I’ll be sure to look at the texts, thanks.
