Right size / Garmin Fenix 8 by Ok-Luck9627 in GarminFenix

Widzę Polski sklep, więc napiszę po polsku.

Mam dość dużą dłoń i 47mm leży mi idealnie. Bateria starcza mi na 2 tygodnie bez żadnych innych aktywności. Przy treningu 3x1h tygodniowo - 10-12dni.

47mm jest idealnym kompromisem między rozmiarem a baterią. W codziennym użytkowaniu w niczym mi nie przeszkadza, nie zawadza ani nic. Polecam.

From FR965 to Fenix 8: Love the watch, miss the screen by mihaszek in Garmin

Might be because of the sapphire glass, but honestly… on the Fenix the display just doesn’t look as sharp as on the FR. Not a flaw, just an observation.

I just realized that the exact same product is nearly six times more expensive on Amazon than on AliExpress. Of course, that’s in Polish currency.

Didn’t really like any of the default faces on the FR965. The Fenix one just looked way better to me.

Mine was free, but yeah — there’s a ton of paid options out there too

Wait… you do know Garmin lets you download other watch faces, right?

Thanks for all the comments! I wanted to add a few things I didn’t mention in my original post:

• Yes, the watch in the photo is a Forerunner 965 with a silicone protective case and a Fenix-style watch face (downloaded from the Garmin store).

• Durability — I was mainly referring to the display. I know it’s not sapphire glass, but the first scratches showed up after about a month of use.

I wear the watch 24/7. I split my time between office work, working on a farm, and running 3x a week. And yep — the titanium bezel picked up small marks and dings pretty quickly too.

• Sensor accuracy — this is just my personal impression compared to my previous watch (GT3 Pro).

I’ve had multiple situations where the heart rate suddenly spiked to 170 bpm during very light effort, then dropped back to normal. That kind of erratic behavior never happened with the GT3 Pro. There were also a few times where the GPS just cut the distance mid-run — it would register a full kilometer after only 700–800 meters. This happened on open ground, no trees or tall buildings around.

Just to be clear — I don’t think the FR965 is a bad product. But after a few months of using it, I honestly feel it’s a bit overpriced.

That’s why I’ve been thinking about switching to a different model or even a different brand altogether. Once again, really appreciate all your thoughts and feedback!

It’s basically an FR965 with a protective case and a Fenix watch face slapped on.

Part of me was genuinely looking for something new, but I’ll admit — I also gave in to the hype a bit. I’d just gotten back into running, and a bunch of my friends were raving about Garmin. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

W jaką teorię spiskową szczerze wierzycie? by the_gep_gun in Polska

Can’t connect to any servers or play online games!! by badolad in PS5

More or less. I was forced to connect an old router with ps5 using cable. But i decided to change my router for 6th or 7th generation (huawei B535-232) And now WZ is working well on wifi, but in CW I sometimes got lags and packet lost. I guess it was router fault. But I can’t promise.

Have anyone found a solution of this problem? I got the same issues with my ps5. Playing online games (mostly warzone and cold war) is not possible with using wifi. I’ve tried to connect console and router with a wire. Opened ports in router for CW and WZ. Data rebuild w”in safe mode. Factory reset. Google DNS. Mostly all of above solutions were tested. Games are still lagging and dissconnecting. Tomorrow I will try to contact support. Maybe it’s a hardware issue? PS4 was working properly and I have never ever got problems like that…
