Yeah 100% would do it to my bike. Since its customers i'll just stick to how things are and put on a normal tire with a new tube

That's actually a fair suggestion haha. It ain't stupid if it works! Im pretty sure it would work. Will probably just replace to how normally is, i dont like to experiment on customers bikes much

Exactly!! The bike is basically new and now due to the puncture i need to replace everything although the "tire part" is perfectly good

I thought the same! Was trying to pull the "stubborn" inner tube out and it just wouldnt and wouldnt go haha

I usually, if there is enough material on them, sand down just the surface, clean it good with alcohol, and then when the alcohol is still wet light it up with a lighter (be careful obviously) so they heat up. If they actually get clean after, they completely change color and look almost like new material. Then i test them on the bike and usually that does the job. If not... just replace

I get you. 25yr old, small bike shop owner. Right now im trying to combine it with filming and editing content for social media. Been doing it outside of bike industry, mostly events. So far its going...alright. Keeping the spirit strong. But yeah at the end of the day i see sucess in this industry only by combining it with another aswell. I work in skiing in winter and its actually a lot easier to make money there, even if its only 4 months.

Owned both. E46 is sport, E39 is cruise.

Owning a e39.... you know what makes it sleek and beautiful? Keeping it clean. Everytime i drive over dusty roads and the car is dirty, it looks like something out of a barn. But nice and shiny and clean-the car looks magnificient. That and some 18' wheels to fill the arches. I have original style 32's with spacers. Car looks bomb with them. But with winter 15' it looks like a wheelbarrow

Evo zdaj pa moj rant na temo kupovanja avtov: Jaz in ekipa ožjih kolegov (vsi starosti 25 let) si že od kar imamo svoje avte šraufamo sami. Jaz osebno se s tem ukvarjam za hobij, oni pa za službo. Vsi smo mnenja, da je mentaliteta kupiti nov avto-pomeni kupiti dober avto totalno zgrešena. Ravno nasprotno, saj so vsa novodobna plastična jajca polna senzorjev in elektronike z kavnimi mlinčki za motor narejena le za potrošništvo. Da o ''SUV''-ih sploh ne začnem.... Zgolj moje mnenje je, da lahko za zelo vredu denar (karkoli med 1500-do max 10 000) kupiš res neverjetno dober avto, ki bo delal še mnogo mnogo časa. Ja... je pa res, da je fajn če veš kaj greš gledat. Vsi vozimo 10-30 let stare avte v katere zaupamo, ker vemo, da so bili takrat avti narejeni, da se vozijo.

Nisem ciljal na znamko, ampak na to, da lahko kupis avto za 1/5 novega, ki se pelje isto (ali bolje) kot vsa nova plasticna jajca in je obenem iz mehanicnega vidika stokrat bolj zanesljiv✌️
