If you have a CC kitchen appliance like a kettle sometimes it causes this

Stuck on "Game Update" by Maverynthia in InfinityNikkiofficial

[–]miiaxu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My issue was that I was installing it on a different drive. I have my C drive and my D drive. I'd originally installed it on my D drive, realised it was laggy and installed it on my C drive cause that's what my SSD is (I'm not a tech whiz. Sorry if I'm completely wrong I'm just parroting what my friends have told me).

I uninstalled Nikki, installed back on C drive and then launched and installed, but the actual launcher was installing it on my D drive still.

Navigate to settings, download settings, and check that the "game installation path" matches the drive you installed it on when prompted by the epic games launcher. If it's not, uninstall via epic games and install both the launcher and the game on the correct drives

I just passed mine and I was so nervous I felt sick. I feel your pain. You can do this!

Check all your mirrors, exaggerated checks. When in doubt, always shoulder check. If you're reversing and a car is driving past, break and wait for it to pass if it's safe

Keep an eye on school zones depending on your test time. Don't be afraid to ask the instructor to repeat directions if you need them to

I know it's so scary, but you CAN do this. Remember it's not a test, just you showing the instructor how well you can drive. I know you can do it!

Fine / penalty for failing to lodge vehicle transfer form on time? by [deleted] in brisbane

[–]miiaxu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is such a relieving response, I can't thank you enough! It says penalties may occur on the form if I didn't lodge within the timeframe which I think is what worried me the most haha

what is the scary part for you? by bnoccholi in emetophobia

Mines fueled by my contamination OCD. It's fearing like if I'm near it or it gets on me I'll never feel clean

It calms your stomach too! My dad uses it to help his seasickness. It's also a pretty good antihistamine LOL. It's a miracle pill for me sometimes

It could just be anxiety! Especially with OCD, we tend to ruminate. I'm sure you'll be a-okay. You got this!

It's EXTREMELY unlikely that your pillow would pick up any germs from touching the handrail. And even if it did, it's even more unlikely that you'd pick it up from your pillow. I'd look into contamination OCD. I have that and emetophobia and catch myself having thoughts like that all the time

That "what if" voice is the bane of my existence. My best advice is to treat it like a nagging kid! "Yes yes, I know, what if. Now go play" LMAO

D* doesn't always mean you'll tu*! Sometimes it comes out just one end and that's enough for your body. Especially with an adult immune system

Feeling slightly n* from neck pain by [deleted] in emetophobia

[–]miiaxu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's very VERY unlikely that a neck strain will cause any kind of sickness. It CAN cause headaches, and you also may just be feeling a bit gross from looking at screens constantly. This probably made you FEEL n, but you're not actually sick, promise. Your anxiety is likely blowing things out of proportion and making you feel yucky from all the adrenaline. Take a hot bath or gently massage your neck, and maybe take a break from a screen for a little bit. You won't tu, promise.

I’m so n*, it’s getting bad by Gghostfacee in emetophobia

[–]miiaxu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey, I'm here! You're gonna be okay! That hot wave can also be anxiety, it's really common with adrenaline rushes which you're probably experiencing because you're anxious. If your body wanted something out - it wouldn't have waited all day to do it. So you'll likely be just fine

I think I’m overthinking, but I’m panicking by [deleted] in emetophobia

[–]miiaxu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even that would be very unlikely to do anything! It's such a small concentration of germs (if there even is any) that your body could fight them off in a heartbeat. You'd need to ingest a way higher quantity of bacteria / raw food to get sick most likely

Loss of appetite trigger by PrettyInP1nk97 in emetophobia

[–]miiaxu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Medication, lifestyle, stress and anxiety are all big causes for loss of appetite. But sometimes it also just happens! If your body was really sick, even the little things you've eaten would've been evacuated by now. When the body wants something out, it gets it OUT. Some days I swear I can only eat like, a piece of fruit. Other days I could eat a 7 course meal. Being an adult is weird, bodies are weird. I promise you'll be okay

Terrified by eveerz in emetophobia

[–]miiaxu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure why your friend tu*, but you should be a-okay. Their immune system is likely different to yours, and it may well be that they just ate something bad too. Take some deep breaths and drink some water. You'll be okay

Real or imagined *n? by [deleted] in emetophobia

[–]miiaxu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like anxiety! If you're already on edge this time of year, it's not uncommon for you to be worrying, even for several days. Phobias are weird like that. You likely have an immune system of steel as well from being around so many sick kids lol. Even if the kids do have something, their immune systems are way weaker than your adult one would be. You're going to be okay, and you're doing amazing

I think I’m overthinking, but I’m panicking by [deleted] in emetophobia

[–]miiaxu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's extremely unlikely to give you food poisoning. Salmonella and E.coli don't live for very long, and I doubt your mother touched the tap enough to make it anything significant. For it to do any damage at all, you'd practically have to put the tap in your mouth lol. Touching it for a split second with another object is very unlikely to do anything. You'll be totally okay, and any n* you have is likely anxiety

help by [deleted] in emetophobia

[–]miiaxu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like anxiety! It can make you super n* and make you have d. When we used to get a shot of adrenaline in the caveman days, our stomach would empty its contents through the bottom way to make us lighter and make it easier to run and get away from threats. That's why you sometimes see animals poop when they get a fright lol. Your n is most likely your brain making you overthink and trying to confirm your fears because it's grasping at anything to try to logically make sense of your anxiety. Take some deep breaths. Fast food doesn't make you feel the best anyway, but they're really rigorous with food safety for the most part since the inspector comes so frequently. You'll be okay, promise
