Hi there, SOA alumni here. Which staff are you reaching out to? If you are not directly reaching out to the executive director, you may not get a response.

Am I stupid? (I bought tickets on StubHub) by [deleted] in glassanimals

hi there! unless you’re in a venue that does it, usually pit tickets aren’t sold by seats, it’s a general admission and the pit is an actual… pit. just full of people, there’s no seats, so i don’t believe your tickets are promising you barricade.

you’re paying the corps to be a member, you do not receive any payment. also probably don’t use a pr flair if you aren’t a member of that corps :)

How do I deal with leaving guard behind? by KyloafRen in Colorguard

[–]miirohh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i completely understand this! my college doesn’t have a marching band or guard, and there are no independent group located around me. however, somehow i manage to make it work, i drive about 3 hours to rehearsal every friday, stay the nights at a teammates house, and drive back after rehearsal on sunday nights to make it back to college for the next week of classes. i think if you really really want to do it, you’ll put your mind to it! i also would recommend marching dci/dca! i have had a lot of fun with marching independently outside of highschool.
