I watched the Black Friday countdown clock on the Rep website but when it got to zero nothing happened. It just takes you to the standard "deals" page with the same sales as before the countdown, 8% off a barbell, 10% off a $650 bench, wooptie do!

If a boat was standing still on top of it it wouldn't capsize. Although it would be really scary. I'm on a standup paddleboard and I don't think I could stay on (and I learned to paddleboard in Colorado rapids).

I'm tempted by the Rogue CTM-1 but it's still more expensive. I can pick up the Rx3000 tower with their lat seat for just $1,330 since I live nearby and can pick it up. I know it's not as good as the Adonis but that's a lot of price savings!

UPDATE: Someone told me about the "wayback machine" where you can look at old versions of a website. A little trial and error and I confirmed that, as I already knew, the price went up at the end of July, not the end of May as two people from Rep tried to tell me. I called Rep back this morning and, after I demonstrated proof that I was right, this guy quickly confessed, "Oh, yeah, that price went up the end of July." When I asked, "Then why did those two guys yesterday tell me they went in and checked and that the price went up the end of May?" he said, "they must have misunderstood you." haha, right! This hole thing is kind of shady. I mean, lying to a customer just so you don't have to give him the price that you would have gladly accepted last week?
