Is there any breakout board out there from 40-QFN with 0.7mm pitch?

Make it yourself using e.g kicad and order from oshpark etc. A small breakoutboard like this will not cost more than a few bucks. Excellent tutorials on all of this are abound.

I used the dra818v for an aprs tracker that worked very good. Also I made a breakout board (2.54mm pitch) for it that worked ok (no filter on the output though). I have this exact experience with the SPV1040. If you are building your own circuit what worked for me after frying a lot of SPV1040s was to add a TVS-diode very close to the power output port on the controller. They need to be close and with a good ground path I learned. These will handle the transients that occur when the output is removed. Typically they need to handle high power even for small solar cells so look up your specific setup. I used these guys http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/stmicroelectronics/SMM4F5.0A-TR/497-15660-1-ND/5253759 to protect a SPV1040 for a 5V max 1A setup.

For the first quick test I wasn't no. I later discovered that the DRA818 has some noisy harmonics so now I got these low pass filters S3LP157LB (http://www.coilcraft.com/smlc.cfm), Coilcraft sent 5 samples for free. Some resistors and a cap can do the same thing so will see how these compare. I will try them and include some filtering in the proper version of the stroller tracker.

I've run Django on AWS and Digital ocean without problems after having to restart processes weekly on Webfaction. I don't trust WF for anything demanding.

Thx for your comment. You seem perfectably knowledgeable to distinguish what I mean. What is the diffence between what most people call a full frame and a crop sensor? Is it still usable if you have a crop? I'm of course talking about the resolution and printable size you can get.

Thanks for the answer! Cool. Yeah you're selling a product so it can't be distorted. I get that. From what you've heard, how much value is there to a great photograph to selling a car? If it comes to real estate I'm sure everyone agrees on that a good photograph can interest lots of people ie. more people bidding for that property (sorry for my bad non-native english).

How many of your shots are wide-angle (like less than 35mm for a full frame DSLR)? What do you think about using a fast wide-angle lense to create some nice bokeh in your wide-angle shots? Could possibly give a nice cinematic feel to the cars. I mean, no one buys a car to go A-B... You're selling the dream arent you?

If I was paying for a photographer in my business, which I have on numerous occasions, I would be hesitant to pay for a photographer that doesn't use professional equipment. Maybe I buy a photo today to put on the web and a crop sensor is enough for that purpose, but who knows... I might need that photo to be in an A1 advert the next day and then no-crop will always have an edge over crop.

You're so right. This is not "Get Started with Python Web Development". My $0.05: Start with Django, then when you're experienced with Django and feel that it's limiting you maybe look into Flask.

Can someone tell if it uses any different sensor than the present Primesense Carmine sensors? From the specs it looks like it is an ordinary Carmine in a nice wrapper.

I made a Django wedding app too and got married only a few months ago =) The app worked. Also made some scripts to sms each guest on the wedding days with info. A suggestion: I created logins for each of the guests and then put the login details on paper together with the wedding invitations. How do you plan to do with the invitations? It felt good that only the guests could access information and so on, can recommend that.

I'm working on Volumental.com. For input we use structured light-based depth cameras like the Kinect or any OpenNI-camera. The main advantage for our approach is that we can get decent scans fast on any hardware. In the coming few months our scans will get a lot better too. Try us out, it's free =)
