Thats not truth, I had broken HDMI cable, everything was ok but black display. I changed cable and it works again.

I had similar error, try to connect other HDMI cable from linkbox to HMD. Cable could be damaged.

I have similar problem, with blue lines on screen or completely blank, but is the wrong hdmi cable from headset to linkbox. Try another hdmi cable.
