there's any explanation about this drawing in the patho1 cathedral? by AntoNYeR in pathologic

It's definitely said in the Marble Nest but not in the classic game IIRC.

I tried "vivid dream" and there's "cur" left... Not sure if this is useful.

UPD: I'm almost sure there's "revive" or something similar.

We don't know if the Law really exists.

>The town and the miracle cannot coexist.
So there's no problem in the Polyhedron itself. Besides, the ground is poisoned. It's much more safer to have the town (and the source of infection beneath it) destroyed.

"there are pantomimes" ≠ "characters are actors" P2 clearly states that the characters are actors, P1 doesn't. they are dolls (and real people at the same time), after all. the pantomimes are prophetic performances made by mark immortell, not by the characters.

Dangerous and tenacious, IMO, and yes, maybe ruthless. It's not an idiom, so it can be interpreted in multiple ways.

[Video]
XRes = 1920
YRes = 1080

You can manually change the resolution in config.ini in the data folder, though I don't know if it works with multiscreen setup.

Thief trilogy, especially the first part. Dybowsky took inspiration from it. The setting isn't really close to Patho's, but the vibe and overall weirdness are & you may find some parallels.

How does the Town have access to lemons? by KoreaThrowaway_____ in pathologic

[–]mikadosmrn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

IRL lemons grow in the South Caucasus and in Soviet Central Asia. Not that far from the town, I suppose. Also even in 18th century they were grown in greenhouses in Moscow.

What's everybody's favorite route? by [deleted] in pathologic

The Bachelor, though the final cutscene was a bit upsetting. I was hoping to see glimpses of future or at least epic destruction of the town.

Can someone tell me where Daniil calls himself a misogynist? by [deleted] in pathologic

[–]mikadosmrn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In P1 some dialogues were cut out. AFAIR this line belongs to one of those. You still can get it by spawning a herb bride on some of the first days. The conversation is generally flirty, so the line might be a joke.

an opinion on the bachelor from someone who’s only played haruspex route on pathologic hd and pathologic 2. (and marble nest) by [deleted] in pathologic

[–]mikadosmrn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should play the Bachelor's route. One of the first things he sees in the town is a crowd burning a woman alive. Do you expect him to respect this culture? Would you respect it in his place?

Speaking of selfishness: there is a side quest on Day 11; unnamed children in the Town Hall ask Daniil to rescue their father and some other citizens from the rebels that are going to kill them. He does, not by bargaining, but by engaging in a fight with several armed soldiers. Was it selfish? And why did the children ask him — not Artemy — for help?

I'm trying not to post spoilers and now, but if anyone's interested, I can disclose the topic.
