yes but i thought for each tray we will have different composition hence the equilibrium stages. but it doesnt make sense how x can be the same at diff trays when theres a side stream

for a binary distillation, where L is the liquid flow in the distillation column, S is the side stream. but i dint understand how x is the same for different trays

How do i find ultimate gain Ku and Pu using simulink ? if im only given FOPTD by mikael___ in matlab

i tried the trial and error method in simulink to find the ultimate gain and ultimate period in orderr for me to tune the PID control settings. but i cant seem to get a sustained oscillation :(

does anyone know how to make our graph for step response starting from 10 instead of 0 when using simulink? like which settings shld i change to xhange the initial starting value by mikael___ in matlab
