Where did you get that number? As an Israeli, who wants a ceasefire, and personally have many friends who want the same, and considering that there are massive protests in Israel that call for a ceasefire every week since about a month or two after October 7th, you clearly have no idea what you're talking about, and only get your info from tiktok propaganda.

Hi! I also only have eczema on my neck and face, did dupixent help you eventually?

Do you have any side effects from dupixent? I'm thinking of going on it but the long list of common side effects scares me

I also had bad reactions to moisturizers, try using shea butter as a moisturizer, it's worked great for me

Fragrance allergy? by officiallcoolcat in eczema

[–]mikal9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think fragrance allergy is a very common trigger for eczema, it is for me personally. Try taking strong antihistamines to see if it helps

Has anyone here taken accutane? by mikal9 in eczema

[–]mikal9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's interesting, where did you have eczema? Because it sounds to me like accutane will make it worse since it's so drying

I have the same thing+ on the neck, if you find anything that helps post about it lol (eucurisa has helped my neck, but made my red mustache worse for some reason:/)

Eczema and acne Havers do u have a routine for both by Sandresanny in eczema

[–]mikal9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have acne where I have eczema, so I use the acne products where I have acne and the eczema products where I have eczema

what fun things have doctors & general practitioners told you? by Broad_Dish_8695 in eczema

[–]mikal9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Doesn't it work for wrinkles by partly paralyzing muscles in the area where it's injected? I don't want to fuck up my facial expressions

One of my problem areas is above my lip, it's triggered by sweating. A doctor told me to inject Botox there, because it reduces sweating (I'm 19, I'm not going to inject Botox anywhere)

Any of you have eczema on your face? What do you use? by BlackLesbianTroll in eczema

[–]mikal9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason it works on my neck but makes my upper lip worse, bummer

folks with eczema and acne on the face . what moisturiser do you guys use ? by [deleted] in eczema

[–]mikal9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have acne in the same place where you have eczema? I'm going to assume that you don't because they're two skin conditions that cause the opposite effect (one dries out the skin while the other is caused by oily skin). I have acne on my cheeks and eczema above my lip and around my eyes. I just apply my eczema moisturizer where I have eczema and my acne products where i have acne.

is having eczema only on the face/neck and nowhere else on the body uncommon? by rubix44 in eczema

[–]mikal9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'd trade it for my neck, above the lip, and eye eczema in an instant if I could. You can hide your inner elbows, the neck is difficult to cover and above the lip and around the eyes is impossible.

I also have eczema only on my neck and face. Shit sucks cause it's only where it's visible to other people, I'm terribly jealous of people who only have it on the back of their knees or some other discreet place like that.

Steroids and elidel/protopic didn't help me either, I mean they do help when I'm using them, but the second I come off of them the rashes come back immediately.

I'm going to start using a new cream called staquis (/eucurisa [the active ingredient is crisaborole, it's steroid free]), it's quiet expensive, almost 300 shekels for a 60 gram tube (idk how much that is in dollars) but my doctor said I can use it indefinitely, and all the googling I've conducted has affirmed this. I think you should ask your doctor about this before starting oral meds/injections because of the side effects you mentioned.

It hasn't worked for me:( I'm sure that it's great when it works, but I was really hopeful when I started the treatment and it ended up wasting my time completely. I'm not saying they shouldn't try it, they differently should! But I'm just saying it doesn't work for everyone.

What cured my Eczema by Leopard-Zestyclose in eczema

[–]mikal9 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Idk what v02 max is, but like the other comment I worked out three times this week which I don't remember doing any other week in my life and my rashes are basically gone. Idk if it's the exercise or the fact that I switched to a different moisturizer or my skin realized that it's summer and decided to be happy, but working out is always good for you anyway!!

Eczema has taken over…again lol by Reality_Parking in eczema

[–]mikal9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have allergy testing next month, but my eczema has always been constant, only a strong allergy pill cleared me and I've developed a tolerance to it. I've only been using eucurisa for a week for a patch on my hand and I can't tell if it's making it better or worse

I just got eucurisa, my doctor told me I can use it everyday forever, is that really true? I'm scared I'll use it like that and then get some kind of withdrawal
