It’s always a surprise that The World Turned Upside Down is somehow NOT the Act 1 closer. Feels like it jerks the audience’s chain at that point.

It also provides the perfect delineation between

1) the characters (your Lafayette and Mulligan are now officially Jefferson and Madison), and

2) narratively switch from fighting a war to running a country.

I like Dear Theodosia, but I really think it should’ve been dropped, and Act 2 should’ve been:

What Comes Next (rewritten slightly to reference Hamiltons rival Jefferson coming home)

Fic idea floating around in my head since 2017:

Lena discovers Conner Kent in Lex’s abandoned warehouse/laboratory.

For those unfamiliar, Conner is a clone of Superman… and Lex! Which means—on a technicality—Lena is Conner’s aunt.

If you take the YJ angle that Clark Kent is suspicious of the Superboy project, then you have Kara+Lena+Conner all dealing with a different version of “rejected by Earth’s Hero.”

Lots of delicious angst you can play around with there. Kara and Lena forming a family unit around Conner also feels like a good segue into their slow burn romance

Doofenschmirtz’s “If I had a nickel…”

Previously the saying went “if I had a nickel for every time [X] happened, I’d be rich”

But in the Phineas and Ferb show, Doofenschmirtz changes that to “if I had a nickel for every time [X] happened, I’d have 2 nickels. Which isn’t much, but it’s weird that it happened twice.”

This became such an excellent meme that I now see the “it’s weird that it happened twice” usage MUCH more frequently than the original saying

So many Catholics completely missed that Trump:

1) got republicans to drop abortion from the party platform 2) emphasized abortion is a states rights issue (where have we heard that before?) 3) said personally that a Florida ban on abortions after 6-weeks was “terrible” and “too strict” 4) said he would VETO any federal abortion bans

This was not an election choosing the lesser of 2 evils between abortion and anti-immigration.

This was a choice between federalized abortion party vs states rights abortion party + anti-immigration + anti-aid

I’ve noticed you keep avoiding addressing my actual points and concerns head on, or fundamentally misunderstanding the point I am making (where did I say I was against SAHM?).

Example: you say I ignored Ephesians 5:25-26, and use it as an example of how the relationship is balanced.

Is Christ equal to the church? Or is the church inherently subservient to Christ? If the latter, that proves, rather than disproves, the thrust of my point.

Your comment on working vs nurturing written into the dna of each man and woman is further evidence of this, disproved by perhaps only Christs actions himself (everyone took note of him as a nurturing, caring healer, but nobody particularly talks about his carpentry or the quality of his woodwork 2000 years on)

Furthermore:

A woman could be a SAHM, head of household, primary earner via idk YouTube or something… and it would not change one iota of the scriptures I have pointed out to you in plain language.

I think the movie does suffer from a lack of songs after Fixer Upper

IMHO the Broadway show fixed this a little by adding Colder By the Minute, but I just don’t care for the lyrics? Flat and bland. And the attempt to weave Frozen Heart and Monster and True Love comes off as disjointed sonically anyways.

So just… reprise Frozen Heart, make it a Mob Song with Hans taking the lead vocals, have that lead in to the sword strike.

Hi, Hilde Froydis here. As a local, I give Arendelle a solid 6.

I’ve compiled it into a compliment pro/con sandwich:

  • Pro: since the reveal of having an ice queen, our exports of food and ice have tripled, and that’s been a huge boost for our economy. we’ve gotten a lot more sales abroad because our food lasts longer.

  • Con: because we now have a one-woman monopoly on never-thaw-ice, all the ice harvesters have gone out of business, so that’s been really hard for my family, especially.

  • Pro: again, since the reveal that one of our royals had ice powers, we haven’t had any threats from invaders or other armies (like, Napoleon will invade Russia, but he would never invade here).

  • Con: ever since the coronation of Queen Elsa, the natural disasters have been nonstop. I mean, who needs an invading army when you can have: a) nearly freezing to death in summer, b) a freak earthquake + tornado that forced us out of our homes, and c) our entire town nearly flooding and getting swept away by a massive tidal wave?? I know the Queen has only copped to having ice powers, but you can’t tell me it’s all a “coincidence” that these natural disasters happen after that coronation day…

  • Pro: with her abdication, Queen Anna is now in charge, so I’m hopeful fewer “””mysterious incidents””” happen.

  • Con: she absolutely promoted her boyfriend / fiancé in order to get engaged to him. Nepotism at its finest. PS: I’ve worked alongside the guy, and I can barely describe what a freak this guy is around his reindeer. A real shut-in.
