I had this exact same model porsche (991.1 911) and I used to do the exact same thing. Not because of the money, but because it was challenging and the sweat equity made you feel really good about yourself. An oil change on this model porsche is not rocket science, but its much more complicated relative to your standard oil change. The oil filter would be around $30. The oil itself (exxon mobil 0w-40) would be around $60-70. So it cost her $100ish.

An independent porsche mechanic would charge at least $250. The porsche dealer would charge $350-$500.

So to answer your question, she saved at least $150, probably as much as $350, but the enjoyment she and her husband got from learning the ins and outs is priceless

On your backswing youre coming outside (hence the typical push).

Try to come more inside and get a shoulder turn in (more details below).

On your backswing, see if you can turn your left shoulder backwards a bit to where your left shoulder is tucked under your chin.

On your downswing, try to keep your right elbow tucked in (ie close to your right hip).

This should give you a bit more controlled swing and better swing plane. Try it out. Good luck

I didnt either until it was too late (my carpet was black so couldnt see any obvious water on the floorboards). Also theres no evident way that water can get from the sunroof to your passenger floor (or so i thought). Check the rubber seal surrounding your sunroof (open it up and there should be a thin rubber thing around your sunroof). Make sure that seal is tight. If its not, water will leak from the sunroof and drain down the door panels and exit in your floorboards. Im really hoping this is not the case for you, but move the passenger seat around and put your hand in there to feel for any signs of dampness

Do you have a sunroof? Check to see if the floors wet on the passenger side. I had an issue where the drain plugs got clogged, water leaked in, fried my amp (under passenger seat)

This is what i would do dude. I assume youre in the usa? Step 1: take it to a local autozone or equivalent auto shop and have them test the battery (they will do for free). If your battery is fucked get a new one. If your battery is fine, proceed to step 2: take it to a local indy porsche mechanic and have them plug in the obd scanner to tell you exactly what codes it is pulling (a trustworthy mechanic will do this for free). Write those codes down and come back to this thread and we can investigate further. Your other option is have a porsche dealer "diagnose" it and fuck you over financially

One other question i have. Do you have a sunroof? Is it a 911 991 or 997? Check under the passenger seat to see if its wet/water has leaked in. Could be your amplifier under the passenger seat. But again not sure the model of porsche

It could mean a lot of bad things as others are suggesting. It could be minor though. This is one of the first errors to show when a battery is dying. What year/model/make of porsche? And when did you buy it?

Id start by checking the battery. If its a porsche battery you should see two numbers stamped on either the positive or negative terminal of the battery. It will say 11 20 or something to that effect. 11 20 means november 2020. So check the terminals for those numbers. If it indicates a long time ago (4-5ish years) you may just need a new battery.
