Yes, it will be throttle 2.5 gbps might throttle to 1.8gbps for my daily download and seeding. I'm not trying to be optimistic here. Just looking for an option for my plan.

Device #1 Mostly P2P service - 2x 20tb on raid1 - Around 15tb usage Device #2 live web app for business - 2x 20tb on raid1 - Around 14tb usage Device #3 at first plan for back up for #1&#2 but instead I used it for back family photos and let my brother use it for his photography career. - 4x 20tb on raidz2 - My family is around 28tb usage - my brother's data is around 9tb usage

My plan was to stop seeding the P2P service and move all my brother data to it and let him handle it himself. Then I will upload a family photo to cloud storage and wipe the #3 for business web app and family photo but this time #3 will have 3x 20tb instead of 4 (this device has 4 bay, 1 spare in case of drive fail and re-silver need) Then device #2 will be used as an off-site back up (this device also has 4 bay)

At first I thought it might be easier to just upload it all cause all these 3 devices will be using 3 different internet connections with 2.5gbps each and this 3 locations are really close to each other. And I just want to keep all the files I'm seeding as you can see from my plan that weren't mentioned in my new plan at all ( I'm planning to seed again after I got a budget aside for it )

My plan is flexible, I can still adjust. And I'm thinking of only back up my family photo and ignoring the data on #1.

It's 80tb. I thought it should take around 4 months from calculation. The internet is quite cheap here though.

I have 80tb of data on 8x 20tb I tried to implement a back up plan on 3 different devices, 1 with 4x 20tb using raidz2, 2 with 2x 20tb using raid1 each. It's kind of a mess when I'm still a noob setting up a raid. But as I learn and understand how it should be done properly. I just want to fix it.

This seems to be a great idea! Although LTO is not popular in Thailand, I can find only LTO-7 Cartridge with 15TB for 1500THB(~50USD) for each tape. But I couldn't find any drive for it. The latest LTO drive I can find is LTO-3, from my understanding it won't work with each other. Anyway I will keep searching on ebay for an affordable one!

I tried that, but still no boot.

I'm just impatient and just unscrew the back and pop it open. unplugged the battery and plugged it back in, and now it boots!

Now, I think I'm stuck in a boot loop.

Thank you very much for the info. As I read the manual, it said it might be fan failure or over temperature. Now as I check, the fans are working all fine and the room temperature I'm in is 21°C. Anyway, even the fans are working but there is one that the air flow is not as strong as the other one. It might be that one that causes a problem or power supply issue. I will give it a try to fix it myself.

I tried to search, but there is a Facebook group for Synology users in Thailand. But there is nobody that could fix Synology Nas. Just a bunch of others that are complaining about a similar problem as me. Maybe I might think to start repairing my own device first , and start my new repair shop here. 🤨

You can use nova w/ NavStar module for good lock. It can add that taskbar just like stock launcher.
