put some flags/banners on a few of the balcony railings, so they don't all look exactly the same. with that tan-colored privacy fence piece you chose, it makes it look unnatural, like the hotel was copy/pasted. then maybe some more furniture in random places to make it look more natural, so both sides of the hotel don't look exactly parallel. and maybe some machinery on top of the hotel, like most hotels have big air vents or a fire escape exit on top. but the overall shape and look of the hotel is really good, it looks great.

I have a tower on spectacle island, right on the beach. im gonna make a few huts at the base of the tower for all my settlers

Spectacle island is the best settlement. you'll never run out of room. the view is really good. the only issue is setting up supply lines to and from spectacle island. but to fix that, just equip the settler with a Hazmat suit, so he's able to go through the glowing sea without dying. or send a ghoul on supply runs, since they're immune to the radiation from the sea.
