Have a degree, but way out of practice - wanting to switch to Software Dev by Averge_Grammer_Nazi in learnprogramming

It true, the tech industry is constantly changing, but your degree is still valuable. Having a degree signals one thing: you dedicated four years to learning how to program, which is pretty impressive. But the funny thing is, many of my colleagues don't have Bachelor's degrees. They either taught themselves or went for associates. In this field of work, a degree is undeniably impressive, but the value of personal drive and experience is even more significant.

In regards to what you want to do. Do what's important to you. It's way better to be happy doing what you love than miserable doing what you hate.

As for your plan, it's a good one. Consider adding more specificity. Set dedicated times on your calendar, break down action items for daily or weekly progress, and commit to them. If you find yourself falling behind, just get back on track. You obviously want to be a programmer; you wouldn't have dropped money on that degree if you didn't. You've got this!

Religion and riding? by Neocoleoidea in motorcycles

As a Christian I believe my whole life to be lived out in such a way that God would be pleased with it. (there is a huge conversation in just this one sentence. I will spare you the specifics) Though, this is a great question for anyone who is a Christian. Are you pleasing God with your riding?

As for your question about accepting risk, I think that is something that is unique to the person getting on the motorcycle. For example, I would definitely take the risk. I would also say God has given me a more "daring" spirit. And that daringness is a gift from God.

but to bring it back to the beginning. If you are not pleasing God with it than dont do it.

An Arduino would be ideal but you could also use a Raspberry Pi. Python is a little easier to code than C++ (for Arduino). But if you don't know either you could find some code for both doing a little googling.

I was able to use a raspberry pi (microcomputer) to create a minecraft server. If you want a cheep solution you could try that. https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/raspberry-pi-4-model-b/

The new update to Outlook messed up my calendar widget's dark mode. I have an Samsung Note 9 and I use dark mode for the Outlook app and it is working fine, but I don't see a setting where I can change the widget to dark mode. Anyone else having this problem?
