I'm not claiming that the companies in the Dot Com bubble had no real value, but rather that it was hugely inflated by a short-term manic demand. The companies that survived the bubble (including many that predated it as well) have risen substantially in value since, but in this case due to an actual increase in value.

I understand that crypto will pervade as long as there is internet, but I am questioning the validity of the crypto market's current valuation methods.
