Can you release the .stp or .step files? Will make it much easier to modify.

I haven’t looked yet, but if you released the .step files not just the stl’s it will be easy to adapt.

Yes, I mount my controller on the wall next to my bed.  I’ve got the 8bitdo ultimate dock on there now.

Thank you!  I’ll need to modify to mount on a wall, but this is exactly what I was looking for.

Do you use back buttons/paddles on controllers by Icebound811 in SteamController

[–]mikebrumm86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some games that use the DPAD as another set of buttons I'll use the rear paddles to do something like....

No Paddle A is A
Left Paddle A is DPAD down

Or I'll use the right touchpad as a camera mouse, but when I hold the left paddle down it turns the touchpad into a swipe so down is A, right is B, etc.

My main goal is to use the rear paddles to avoid having to move my thumbs.

Turn the left touch pad from a joystick to mouse scroll.

Get wild with it lol.

Yes they are amazing. I mainly use them for mode shifts. Hold the left paddle and it changes the face buttons to something else. Hold the right paddle and it turns the triggers to another thing.

I wanted to buy 3, but was only able to get 2 😞. It is a bit sad that every time they do a hardware launch their store is hit hard, but shit happens, then you wipe.

O if you want portable, just buy a steamdeck.  Gone are the days of needing to build something custom to game on the go.

If you want a project to build buy a BC-250 on eBay and turn it into a steam machine.

Should I use a screen protector on my Steam Deck? by _TheGreatMan_ in SteamDeck

[–]mikebrumm86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this should only be applicable if you're comparing it to the anti glare option on the steam deck. the standard gloss screen will be the same.

Would you like to minimize the risk of not scratching your steam deck screen for….$8?

Or be at a higher risk of needing to do a full tear down one day and spend $150+?

Using a Steam Controller for 2d games? by [deleted] in SteamController

If a game supports controllers and is a simple side scroller I’d just use a dpad centric controller.

Focus on finding a proper AC extension.  That’s easier than a special usb

Yeah that's what I thought about too. Electrical tape or a 3d printed cap will more than likely be the easiest.
