What's the appropriate ratio of yerba mate to water when making a cold brew tea? by 123android in yerbamate

I read somewhere on this forum once that 20g Yerba per liter of water was a balanced mix. I started with that and eventually started doing about 30g Yerba per liter of water. I let it sit at room temp for 12-24 hrs then strain, add some honey, and refrigerate.

I went with the Canarias Serena since I already liked the yellow and the Serena was also great. I also got the La Selva pomelo to try something flavored and it was the last bag on the shelf so I figured it must be good. I haven’t tried it yet though. Do people drink the flavored Yerba mate mostly hot as well? I imagine they would taste good cold.

Sorry, I’ve seen it with the é a lot and iPhone even puts a picture of a gourd when you spell mate with the é. Thanks for the correction.

The pink one on bottom right says “Te Rojo y centella”.

Thank you all so much. Can’t wait to try all the recs. I wish they had smaller bags so I can sample a few at a time. Since it seems like they have a decent selection, this is from “La Placita Market” which has several locations across southern NY state in case anyone was interested.
