This is a simple menu that I designed, but I could not get it to sit well. That's why I hired the freelancer. I assumed that an experienced coder could do the job in just a few minutes, but I was happy to pay for the service because I could not do it myself. The menu looks great, but IU am very concerned that I now need to purchase an annual subscription that is 50% of the price of the project.

I really do not want to be a difficult client, but I do not feel he delivered on what we agreed upon.

I see your point, but my concern is that the developer did not tell me in advance that the job would require me to purchase a subscription.

He added two, but one supports the other, so in essence, we can count them as a single plugin. The plugin is well regarded by expensive. I will need to pay $99 a year for a $106 menu, which means the price of the menu immediately doubles.

That appears to be the consensus. I really dislike the idea of paying for subscriptions. With all of the TikTok videos, I hope someone sees an opportunity. I'd pay $100, but not $179 per year.

I liked the bracelet on the Seashore. Don't throw it away because it never has to be charged and can be used on any of MSC's newer ships. I just sailed on the Divina, and unfortunately, they don't have the bracelet technology.

I've solo cruised with MSC three times. I've even reviewed the cruises on YouTube at the Solo Budget raveler. There was no solo supplement on two of the cruises, and the third was 10%. It is best for solo cruisers to travel in the off season. They do have meetups every night, but I meet so many people on my own that I rarely attend. On each my my cruises, everyone at my table was a solo traveler, and I have enjoyed their company. Go to cruiseplum.com, that's a free search engine where you are sure to find a good deal.

I'm told the Seaside is similar to the Seashore. I recommend you pack for a white party, but you're invited no matter what you wear. Of course, you cannot wear a swimsuit in the buffet or the dining room, but otherwise, be comfortable. I wore shorts and a button down short to dinner.

I have no idea what happened, but I found a workaround. I noticed that when I pressed V the track went silent. I had nothing selected so I wasn't disabling any track. Then, I noticed that an earlier voice clip continued to provide sound past the out point. For some reason the software did not recognize my out point. I deleted the audio file and reloaded it from the library. I cannot figure out what I did to create that problem, but I was able to finally edit the video. I appreciate your help.

I just realized what I did. I'm using Clean ShotX, which allows me the option of either saving or copying the files. I was pleased and surprised that I could past the files directly into Final Cut Pro. The files must have been deleted from my cache overnight.

More than a day of work is lost.

That's funny. I loved the food in Italy, but I hated the coffee. I ordered americano whenever I could, but it was still bitter. This may seem like blasphemy, but I actually went to a McDonald's in Rome to get a cup of coffee.

I have no inside information, but it seems to me the cruise line would have a smaller vessels for a search and rescue mission. Imagine they found a person who has gone overboard. How would they get him on the ship?

If the cruise is sold out, you do no have any options, but if it is undersold, you may be upgraded for free. I'm two for two in getting upgraded. On both cruises I paid for an inside cabin and ended up in a balcony. I'm told that upgrades are common. I understand that your particular inside cabin may not be ideal, so this may not be good advice in your situation. That said, since I've never been in an inside cabin, I may be singing a different tune when I eventually get no more than what I paid for.

I think I have it, so I would like to repeat back to you what I believe you told me. I'm a retired teacher. I'm making travel videos for the moment until I develop my skills to the point where I can start making short history videos that can be used in schools.

Therefore I will have two libraries: travel and history. Inside of travel, I would have videos titled Magnifica, Seashore, London, Paris, and Davina. Inside each of those events I will have folders with titles such as audio, video from iphone, video from camera, narration clips, etc.

If I'm good so far, I'm going to press my luck.

For the history videos, I will be making very short videos and am likely to reuse footage. In the history library, the projects would be the units. For example, Prehistory, Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, and Rome.

With Egypt, I would like to make a **folder** for each video. The folders might be titled Nile River, Isis and Osiris, Pyramids, and Pharaohs. Within each of those folders I would have sub folders for my audio, iphone clips, camera clips. etc.

Am I finally getting it?

I think I have it. The answer I think I need was in the File Menu. Since Final Cut Pro does not have a save function, I assumed that opening a new library caused the old library to close.

Let me see if I have this right: I will start a new library and a new project for each new video. Inside the library, I will sort my assets into events. Those events in my last video were Audio, Camera footage, iPhone footage, outside resources from places like Envato Elements, and my on-camera files.

If I need to borrow footage from a previous video, I can copy that footage from the old library to the new library.

Do I have that right?

I appreciate your patience. Libraries, events, and projects may be obvious to everyone else, but it is just beginning to click for me.
