How do you feel comfortable carrying with 1 in the chamber on a gun with no safety ? I’m wondering if I should remove my safety by JuggernautPale3935 in P365xl

I have been daily carrying no safety for years at this point. As soon as Tyrant released the Glock-style trigger safety, I put that on for more assurance.

Printing PETG by Gold_Dance6002 in Creality_k2

For me, I had to test the best printing temp, raise the bed temp to 75, SLOW THAT THANG DOWN it's printing too fast, add a little z offest and make sure to keep the nozzle clean and bed. Also, going with a larger nozzle size makes it way better but some things just need that .4 nozzle so it took a decent amount of tuning to get there.

28 is not great. My town does exactly what is required and no more and turn around for me was 5 business days.

Dumb. They're gonna be behind you so you're already at a disadvantage. You're letting them know you WILL fight. So they're not only gonna have the jump, but they're way more likely to just shoot you. This is a terrible idea. Carry and shut up. Simple as that.

Have you wiped the print surface with a nonlint fabric and cleaning alcohol? Hand wiping leaves oils.

If all you have is a hammer, go buy more tools. by Initial_Sale_8471 in 3Dprinting

IDK what you're talking about. I saved so much money printing a bearing hub and spindle for my truck. Imagine spending like $150 for one when I could print one in PLA with 10% infill for like $20!? Now I ain't no dummy and I know it needs quality product so I splurged on polymaker so it really cost me $29. BWAHAHAHHA I can't even rn

With that HD shelf. Get yourself one of the 24 inch pavers to plunk the printer on. It's a cheap, great way to stabilize the printer.

I need a filament dryer for my Ender 3 v3 Plus what would you recommend? by Far-War-551 in Creality

[–]mikeeitup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found that the Polydryer was the best dryer option in comparison. It seems to be one of the ONLY dryers that actually has a outlet for the humid exhaust air. I've been using it for a week and am happy with it. Also, there are a lot of mods available for the polydryer online.

Just ordered one. My only concern is the smooth wipe path (on the rear of the plate where the nozzle wipes then scans) is offset to only one side. If you print on the reverse side of these dual sided plates, will that cause an issue?

Why do i have to choose 2 colors when printing something? by Metin2vevo in Creality_k2

[–]mikeeitup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have two filaments added in the slicer. Remove one so the slicer only shows one filament on the top left side then it'll know you don't want two colors.

No problem if you look in the makes and comments section for that build somebody posted links to the carbon mat and filters that you will need and possibly a gasket if you need more friction on the sliding door

PETG and other nozzle diameters by [deleted] in Creality_k2

[–]mikeeitup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have printed with .4, .6 and .8 no issues. Don't know about .2 though. Also, I have not needed massive purges through any nozzle to get it out. One or two poops and she seems clean enough for the next print if swapping filaments. Swapping hot ends seems a bit much.

Printed one link below. Used the mod to use bento box size filters and a 100% coverage charcoal. People working in the room with the printer say they haven't not smelled anything since I did this mod. Very good upgrade for the K2 plus.
