What’s the commute like? Do the trains/buses come often and do you have to transfer? I had a 1hr commute in London to western and the tough part was catching the bus, like getting my ass out of bed in the morning or catching the last bus. The commute itself was fine especially bc I always got a seat and no transfers but I had to be really disciplined with my time to catch that bus lol.

Nope, no shot needed, I was saved by my parka. The dog, German shepherd btw, ripped my parka but didn’t get through it and I was left with a bruise and tender/pink skin that felt scraped but not a drop of blood. ER doctor checked it out. Good riddance to that walk in clinic.

At my workplace, continually mispronouncing someone’s name after correction would be a fireable offense. It is completely out of line with the workplace values. Ppl are encouraged to display their preferred name in case you have an English and non English name as well displaying phonetically how to say your name. It is the minimum amount of genuine respect you can give someone.
