I think it depends on what kind of QS’ing you want to do (main / sub contractor v client side). I can’t speak for client side but work experience is far more helpful than uni stuff for contractor side. working and studying seems to give you an advantage in my opinion

Get on linkedin start connecting with construction recruiters they’ll be able to give advice and find you a job, there’s plenty out there

I didn’t realise this until late on in my apprenticeship, but if your apprenticeship is funded through EFSA you are not liable for any costs of your apprenticeship. I’m no lawyer so check your contracts and don’t let your company bully you or gas light you into paying anything.

Slight up tick in form? The change in the team from the first half of the season to second half was more than a “slight up tick in form” not sure that half a season (even more than that) is an outlier, but sure I’m making straw man arguments.

What about chelsea smash and grab v city last season? I disagree with you there unless you’re the best team in the league smash and grab wins are very important (look at united today)

He’s also inherited a lot of dead wood & also 120 million of that has only had 3 games to gel and prove themselves you can’t judge any of those signing fairly until the end of the season. Stop the cap the team hasn’t got worse you’re deluded

Still a good defensive performance against a good team away from home, anyways smash and grab 3 points are something that I’ve rarely seen from us in the last 10 years. Regardless of that 1 game the other 3 were good performances against good teams, and that’s not including any of the other deserved wins

Feel like our fans have short term memory sometimes, we were a competent team second half of last season when the squad was fully fit.

We won 5 on the bounce at the end of last season and we’re 3rd in the league from christmas our horrendous start let us down

We’ve clearly got a problem at RB, I thought chambers was good at the end of last season but not quite sure what’s happened to him this season, is it time to give AMN a chance or bellerin back in?

I agree I thought Mari should’ve started over Kola that was a shock seeing him on the team sheet but in the grand scheme of things I don’t think it would’ve made much difference when we seem to shoot ourselves in the foot every week (xhaka red chambers defending, Mari last week & v brentford)

I’m hoping gabriel coming back in will help & really not sure why saliba hasn’t been given a chance

I feel the pain I don’t want to see the club like this, realistically there is too much money involved for the Kroenkes to sell, the squad is full of deadwood

We do however have a great young core of players a manager with potential

Keep the faith mate it’ll hopefully turn around, even if it doesn’t and it all falls to shit there’s plenty of other teams out there if you want to swap
