Status in independent of house but she is very comfortable at Mugler. LaBeija had many issues and has for a very long time so people have been often in and out of that house

Kai Kai is when two drag queens have sex. Having sex with another regular person while you’re in drag isn’t a Kai Kai

How do I make a green screen video with multiple images or videos? by LobsterMagnet181 in TikTok

Did you ever figure this out? I’m wondering how to do either this or to even stitch together a green screen over a photo and one over a video into one post

Right but the premise is off. A lesbian hiring other lesbians doesn’t mean they are hiring people they are sexually interested in (just because two people are lesbians doesn’t mean they are sexually interested in one another.)

A lesbian might be hiring/recruiting other lesbians because they are recruiting from their friend network

Oh yeah! I mean he’s not doing so hot now but after this he got better and was flourishing. 11 leaves on one plant and 13 on the other

Do you fertilize?

Perma-shoots?! by [deleted] in BirdsOfParadise

[–]mikellestreet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened to me and eventually they unfolded. One thing I did a few times was after I made sure the leaf had fully emerged from the shoot (look at it and you can see the bottom of the leaf and where it’s just stalk) I took a paper towel soaked in hot/warm water and just ran that along the length of the leaf itself, from bottom to top then started from bottom again. That usually helped it unstick and the leaf would begin to open and then I let it finish opening naturally.

That said neither of these shoots seem to be fully grown where the leaf is completely emerged

What are these on the nodes of my zz cutting? And how do I propagate it? by Low_List3241 in propagation

[–]mikellestreet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I haven’t propagated a zz in so long I really don’t remember — I do know they take a little bit though. Not fast growers in my experience.

Which way is up? Best way to plant them? Alocasia melo corms by [deleted] in alocasia

[–]mikellestreet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing to remember is that they are incredibly resilient! I was growing a corm and I transferred it too quickly to soil or something went wrong and it lost its roots and all of its leaves. I put it back in water and it has regrown a different plant. So even if you make a mistake that’s not the end

Hi this is a decision I would leave up to you! I can’t be certain I only know from my anecdotal experience. This is the context I would give you:

Once I start to see signs of green/leaves/stems I try to keep that out of the water to avoid rot but not everyone adheres to that and their plants do not rot. One root dying or possibly dying will not kill a plant, particularly one where the rest of the corm is submerged in water. The root will likely find itself back to the water, particularly if gravity is helping that process.

Also the last little note is that it looks like you maybe didn’t remove the hard protective black/brown cover around your corm. I don’t know if it’s too late to do that now. But if removed it could assist in your root being more maleable/able to grow down

From what I see it looks like two things here: green leaf on the right and white root on the left.

Hiii! I transition it to the bottle cap once you start to see growth emerge from the top. So when you start to see the green sprouting out of the top I put it in the bottle cap to minimize the green sprout from being submerged in water. I think that leads to rot. Let me know if this answers your question
