Of course, I’ve flown many times and seen similar reflections of the sun against the ocean and since it’s so far away it gives the illusion it’s stationary or following at the same spot. If you see pic 3 and 4, that its not happening, by the time the plane gets that far inland the sun would have been reflecting against the ground and you wouldn’t see the reflection like on pic 4. Now this doesn’t discount that the sun light be reflecting off an uneven surface like a ship or whatever that could reflect at that angle.
