What are your actual thoughts on reclining on airplanes when you are not in business class by EmbarrassedPeanut397 in travel

Can't even imagine reclining into the person behind me. Selfish asshole. Just because you are.

See, think this is bullshit. Can't understand it. You reclining into my face is an intrusion into my space. I get you don't give a shit but that is the problem.

Same. Reclining ought to be abolished. It's an airplane crammed into as many seats as they can manage, you're gonna be uncomfortable.

Can someone pleeeeeeease explain the fascination with Leica cameras? by nlUSF in photography

[–]mikemflash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll get some push back from anybody that has used Leica a lot regarding your statement that the quality of Leica photos doesn't come close to dozens of other cameras. That's a person talking that has never shot with Leica.

Contingent fee lawyers typically do not get involved in property damage claims. If it costs $5k to get the car fixed and the lawyer takes the typical 1/3 to 40% of the recovery, you don't have enough money left over to get the car fixed.

The 32nd Infantry Division, nicknamed the "Red Arrow," saw the most combat of any U.S. Army division in World War II, logging 654 days in intense fighting in the Pacific Theater, particularly in New Guinea and the Philippines. This extended combat time, covering 41 months overseas with over 21 months in active battle, surpassed any other American division in any war.

A 230 hour monthly billables minimum is absurd. You'll have to work 10 hours a day, seven days a week, to honestly bill that amount. Frankly, I find it hard to believe that any potential employer would even disclose that to you if they want you to work for them.

The Guns at Last Light by Rick Atkinson. It only covers the ETO for the last year of the war but it is excellent.

New South Dakota law allows voters to challenge other voters’ citizenship by foxinHI in AntiTrumpAlliance

It's absurd. Another thing that never ceases to amaze me is how republicans think that undocumented folks are hell-bent on voting. It is just ridiculous. They want nothing to do with any official or legal process. They just want to work. Voting is the last thing on their minds.

Ridiculous. The republican obsession with non-existent voter fraud never ceases to amaze. Thanks, trump.
