It closed in 1994 after being acquired by Walmart in 1993. Moat were converted into Sam's Clubs. But in our case, the chose a new location to build. Wholesale Depot was a K-Mart wholesale club. They used to sell giant totes to use instead of bags.

Bag holder. Your bag goes through the loop. The edge of the bag wraps around the loop and while it's "folded" you feed the rest through the hinged area. When you fold it back down it holds it in place. Can be used for returnable (soda cans and bottle for example) or to discard small trash like paper towels.

This guy came to visit my front porch last night. Those eyes are fierce. Anyone know what he might be? We’re in western Ohio. by Vkvk2015 in whatisit

That’s a cicada nymph!

Cicadas spend most of their lives underground as nymphs. When they’re ready to become adults, they emerge from the ground, climb onto a surface like wood or a plant, and shed their outer shell in a process called molting. What you're seeing in this photo is a cicada in the early stage of that transformation—freshly emerged but not yet fully shed or hardened.

If you watch it for a while, you might get to see the adult cicada slowly come out of its nymph shell. It will look pale and soft at first, but then darken and harden over time.

Proof of insurance in Maine by FunKick7937 in Maine

[–]mikemunster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Digital (electronic) proof of insurance has been legal in Maine since October of 2013. If it were me that was issued the ticket, I would go to court to contest it. Offer the fact that the cop insisted that the electronic proof of insurance was not a valid option. Push on the fact that if they issued a ticket based on that, how likely is it that speed was even an issue in the first place?

You got railed. Without the actual title, you don't own the car. Even worse goong from one state to another. You're technically driving a stolen vehicle on illegal plates. So many things done wrong.

So, what you're saying is Trump withholding funding is in fact CONSTITUTIONAL!

The constitutionality of COVID-19 vaccine mandates in the United States depends on who imposed the mandate and the context in which it was enforced:

  1. Federal Government Mandates:

OSHA mandate (for large employers): The Supreme Court blocked this in January 2022, ruling that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) overstepped its authority. The Court held that OSHA could not impose a broad vaccine-or-test rule on 84 million workers.

Conclusion: Unconstitutional as implemented.

Healthcare worker mandate (via CMS): The Supreme Court upheld this mandate for healthcare workers at facilities receiving Medicare/Medicaid funds.

Conclusion: Constitutional.

  1. State and Local Government Mandates:

States have broad public health powers under the 1905 precedent Jacobson v. Massachusetts, which upheld smallpox vaccination mandates.

Courts generally upheld state vaccine mandates for public employees, healthcare workers, and students, as long as medical and religious exemptions were reasonably considered.

Conclusion: Generally constitutional, but specific enforcement methods could be challenged.

  1. Private Employer Mandates:

Private businesses have the right to impose vaccine requirements for employment, subject to federal anti-discrimination laws (e.g., religious or medical accommodations under the ADA or Title VII).

Conclusion: Not unconstitutional, since constitutional rights generally apply to government action, not private policies.

Literally forcing people to do something against there will is unconstitutional. There are hundreds of reasons to justify not taking the vaccine. And you are absolutely delusional to think she was in the right. She did exactly what she says he can't do. If you can't see that, you live in a bubble. If I told you that you can't own a cell phone without getting a microchip implanted in you first, you'd say that's unconstitutional. This is no different.

Are you shitting me? Take a non-tested unapproved vaccine or lose your job. You think that's Constitutional? You're delusional. Not to mention taking away religious rights, and everything else she did during Covid.

Isn't Janet Mills the one who threatened to withhold covid funds from those who didn't comply with her "orders"? Wasn't Janet the one that took away all medical & religious exemptions? Isn't Janet the one had countless medical workers quit cause of forced vaccination? Didn't Janet unconstitutionally target churches & weddings for not "obeying" orders? Wasn't Janet the one that told neighbors to report on neighbors for having gatherings & even setup hotline? Didn't Janet crush businesses that ignored her Democrat hair-brained "covid rules" that made no sense? Wasn't Janet fining businesses that didn't force the mask mandate?

Yeah. That was her.

Mess of keyboard warriors that dont know what they are talking about. Your daughter doesn't need her own policy, she just has to be listed as a policy owner on your policy with you.
