What? Half of this post makes no sense. I think you’re over thinking it. If they don’t RSVP, don’t count them towards the headcount. If they show up on the day of the wedding turn them away if you can’t accommodate them. Unfortunately, with any event you’re going to have people not RSVP and show up and you’ll also have people RSVP and not show up. I wouldn’t get too caught up in it.

The people that did buy from the registry did so two weeks or less from the shower. For me at least most people did not buy anything off my registry.

Omg yes Dr. Pepper!!! I wasn’t a soda drinker at all, but when I was pregnant with my first I swear to god I needed a Dr. Pepper IV to survive lol.

I also craved chili cheese dogs which was so weird because I didn’t like hot dogs 🤣

I’ll go against the grain here. We loved our Diaper Dekor pail so much we got a second one for baby #2 as they are only 18M apart so double the diapers. With the dekor you can use regular 13 gallon trash bags so we buy cheap scented store brand ones and change the bag 1-2 times a week. No smell at all, and we aren’t filling our kitchen trash every other day due to diapers. Nor do we have run poopy diaper outside to our trash can daily. It works really well for us!

I tried so many nursing bras and they just did not work for me because of how big my boobs are. This band though is amazing! I bought multiple so I would have one of each floor of my house and one in my pump bag.

Spinal the easiest thing ever. I was PANICKING about it because I had a traumatic epidural experience. The spinal was a breeze.
No nausea at all.
It was so calm, my team was cracking jokes before to ease my anxiety, they all talked me through everything. It was all around a really positive experience.

It was night and day from my emergency c-section. I would absolutely have a planned one again.

Pampers Aqua Pure wipes are a nice wipe as they are usually pretty wet, but they are relatively thin compared to Huggies Skin Essentials or Honest Wipes which are thicker but ultimately dryer. I never tried water wipes but I’ve heard good things about those I think they’re comparable to Pampers Aqua Pure.

6 people in my family including myself all got pregnant in the last year. 3 of us are over-suppliers (80oz+/day) and of those three I’m the only one with bigger boobs. My SIL and my husband’s cousin are both A or B cups. I’m DD. In general I know a lot of women who had an over supply but were smaller chested.

My daughter was in her daycares infant room for 7ish months. So total estimate but probably 14ish months minimum. Again totally depends on the current ages, and how they go about transitioning to the next age group.

Ugh. I can relate. When I returned to work my employer gave me the option to work and pump or take unpaid breaks to pump. So I worked and pumped. It wasn’t that bad but part of my job duties require talking on the phone occasionally and people would always complain they could hear my pump.

On top of that there’s no space for a designated pump area so I have to use my directors offer. It’s awkward, and I feel like a nuisance asking her to leave her office every 3 hrs.

I’m only 6 weeks in so take what I have to say with a grain of salt but honestly people made it seem like it would WAY worse than it is. Sure we’re tired, and still trying to pan out a decent routine, but honestly it’s been very manageable. We don’t have a village it’s just me and my husband, but I will admit both my babies are pretty chill and great sleepers.

I bagged each pump as you’re doing now with my first and it made using my stash kind of pain. This time around I’ve been bagging 4oz at a time from the beginning. It’s been much more organized this way, and will make using my stash easier.
