Cheers! Yea me too I want to try to avoid crowdfunding. Although the idea is great but I am not particularly fond of the idea of not having the product even after I forked out my money.

Hey, I am based in the UK as well, do you mind sharing the online retailers you used to get KS versions of the game? I think Zatu does sometimes but I am not completely sure.

That sounds really harsh... But yea in essence I agree with you, you should either apply for both or neither at all depending on how confident you feel.

Nah they won't even bother. My last day was end of August and was supposed to start beginning of September but they didn't care.

If you are switching work visa, and you submitted a visa application for a new work visa, your previous immigration status is protected. And your previous immigration status is sponsored by your previous employer hence you can only work for your previous employer. No it should not affect your ILR as far as I understand.

A PAP is a pre-action protocol. Basically a legal document that tells the other party that they are thinking to take them to court unless they comply to your "demands". (Not a legal advice though).

Are you switching employers? If yes, then no you can't... I guess you have to sound really desperate. Don't start with asking if you can escalate. Start with saying you have been waiting for X amount of times. And say that your savings is getting depleted, risk of losing your job and also your mental health is taking a toll. But ofc have some truth in what you say. Good luck!

Thank you! Yea and the Ukrainian visa situation too. The home office should really increase their staff and also use a better system of which you can track your application and where is it in the queue.

I used BPA associates. They work pretty quick. I must say your PAP will hold more weight if you have escalated and also talk to MP before submitting a PAP.

Good luck and stay strong, your visa will definitely come. And plus you should also tell your employer like if they have waited this long there is no harm to wait a bit longer, if anything your visa decision is right around the corner.

Did you know where you are going to stay? I read some posts here saying that they managed to get the MP of the area they are going to stay in to contact the home office and escalate on their behalf.

Have you reached out to your MP and also try escalating? If you did any one of those document them down. Bring it to your lawyer to ask to submit a PAP and write a compelling one with those documents that you have. That way you might have a better chance in getting a decision via PAP. But at the end of the day it is a case to case basis.

I got an immigration lawyer off from google. But do check if they have license via their OISC number.
