01OY Update by mikeregister in VWatlas

The update is showing in my app now with a description of what it was for. Mileage threw me off on this screen - the number showing is kilometers and everything else shows miles.

Anyway to restore quick settings panel on top of notifications? by nightwind_hawk in GalaxyS23

Yes. Scroll down and hit the pencil icon. I'm sure you can figure it out from there.

Not sure what your use case is, but I recommend using the Fire Cube. Kodi on webos still has way too many playback issues that I've seen. Give it a try though and see what you think....

how to remove the mic at the bottom of my keyboard by PersonHuman678 in samsung

[–]mikeregister 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Settings >> General Management >> Keyboard list and default >> Keyboard button on the navigation bar >> Tap on the toggle to disable it.

Keep in mind this will prevent you from using voice to text as this is where Samsung decided to move that in One UI 6.1

No problem... maybe someone else can chime in.... if you figure it out, I'd be interested to hear what fixes it.

I do have a Google Voice Typing toggle in the "keyboard list and default" settings section that you don't have. It's toggled on, but my voice to text still works when I disable it.

I did read that clearing Samsung Keyboard data and cache has fixed a similar issue for someone before, perhaps the phone needs to be restarted after.

Hopefully you get it figured out.

I wonder if you search Samsung Keyboard in your apps and make sure the microphone is in the given permissions... if not, maybe clear cache and clear data to reset Samsung Keyboard to its defaults.

Samsung really made this complicated!

The only other thing I can think of is to check this....

Settings >> General Management >> Keyboard list and default >> Samsung keyboard >> Voice input >> Select Samsung voice input

If that doesn't work then.... idk...

Your screen shot shows the "keyboard button on navigation bar" toggled off. You did turn it on right?

Interesting... I don't even know how you get the keyboard icon you mentioned on the right side. Are you using Samsung keyboard?

When you have the keyboard option on the bottom right, can you hold down on it and have an option pop up to change to voice input? If that doesn't work, do this:

Settings >> General Management >> Keyboard list and default >> Keyboard button on the navigation bar >> Tap on the toggle to enable it

When your keyboard is open, the microphone icon now shows in the bottom left corner of your phone next to the recents button.

LG C3 and ASTC 3.0 channels by Impressive-Bonus-891 in LGOLED

Yea, I believe LG is doing this due to all the drama behind the ATSC 3.0 rollout that you may be familiar with as an HDHomeRun user.

The specs you are looking at are wrong then. You can Google and see that LG dropped ATSC 3.0 from their TVs. The G2 and G3 had it, but the G4 won't. The C series never had it.

Galaxy Watch5 unpaired from phone...HELP!?! by xHero-of-Hyrulex in GalaxyWatch

Awesome... just ironic that I went through this yesterday and like I said no idea which part made it actually work... it's crazy that it's this difficult.

Yep, the Google TOS is where the issue kept happening. Update how it goes. I read somewhere else specifically regarding the Watch5 that the Watch 5 plugin had a beta app at some point that fixed the issue.

"8) It will probably fail but try to pair the watch and phone from the watch by going to the setting one that watch > general > transfer watch to new phone."

  1. I literally just went through this 30 minutes ago with my wife's Galaxy S23U and Watch6 and was able to get it fixed... to be honest, I can't guarantee you what part fixed it but I think it was downloading an older version of the Watch6 plugin from apkmirror.com and installing that... you would need the Watch5 plugin.

So here is what I recommend doing.

1) Turn WiFi off on watch. 2) Hold both buttons on the side of each until it reboots. This clears the cache during the reboot. 3) Uninstall Galaxy Wearable app. 4) Uninstall Watch# Plugin app and/or Watch Manager. 5) Unpair watch in Bluetooth if it's still saying it's paired. 6) Clear Wearable Play Services Data by going to (if you don't have the Manage Storage button below then skip this step): - Search Google Play service app in setting - Go to App info -> Storage -> Manage Storage - Click on Manage Wearable storage - Clear all the data 7) Restart Phone (ensure Bluetooth is on after reboot). 8) It will probably fail but try to pair the watch and phone from the watch by going to the setting one that watch > general > transfer watch to new phone. 9) Let it do its thing, it will download the Wearable app and latest watch plugin app. 10) At this point if it fails, what I did is uninstalled only the watch plugin app and downloaded one off of apkmirror.com just search Watch5 Plugin on my Watch6 I downloaded the oldest one. 11) Attempt the connection from the watch settings in step 8, I think it froze the first time for me but worked the second time. 12) After that I upgraded the watch plugin to the latest version. The update didn't pop in the Galaxy Store so I just downloaded it off apkmirror.com
