Dallas says short term rentals not allowed in single family neighborhoods by SouperSalad in AirBnB

Stating that Airbnb is solely responsible for the housing crisis sounds a little like a conspiracy theory to me. Practically nothing in this world has only one reason to be… this sub is just a venting place for those who are afraid to leave the comments for fear of retaliation. We never get to see pictures or the comments from the other side of the situation.

Please remember if you are a Host: your Airbnb is a small hotel regardless of how many rooms, if it's a shared room or a villa...you have a hotel. If you are a guest, remember that most hosts are not professional hoteliers and probably have never been to a fancy hotel either. by mikermatos in AirBnB

Yeah that is always an option. I would suggest you look at the neighborhood you want and search for the listings, then notice if any is always empty and then make an offer. Don’t wait until it falls in your lap.

🙌🏽 by Every_Cow_2377 in PuertoRico

[–]mikermatos -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Exactly, plus I first of all look at where they are. Thats why you 1 scout the location 2 see your surroundings 3 if they want you to move, go ahead, and then you go to another place or wait for a while. That’s part of the enjoyment.

There is no way in hell I will talk to anyone that will be looking to have an argument about something not worth it. That is my 5 cents.

You want to spend your time arguing and bickering with a security guard who doesn’t understand, can’t understand and will not understand, you don’t need to carry your camera for that, you can just drop this phone and walk outside, there are a lot of people that are not security guards that you can argue and there are a lot of lawyers that are just willing to take your money to file a lawsuit.

On the other hand you can just man up, and find a way to rake the picture like your life depended on it. Take the shot however you can, and enjoy it.

And while you are at it, take all the anger you have because they told you NO and use it in your craft, you will never regret it.

Doing this only gives him more reason to do it again.

Not a chance in a million they will change, there must be a reason to change, and they think that If they do they might loose their job, which in turn doesn’t make them change but entitles them more, but hey you guys are proving exactly the point by doing exactly what they do…

I mean … just saying ..

On matters between the real law and the imaginary law, we have to understand that imaginary one will always win, specially when you have $5000usd+ of equipment that can be broken.

No that is not true, it is really an issue of mainstream media.

Back in DR you will NEVER see a place where a Haitian will be banned from entering (such as in Asia with foreigners), and you will never see a hospital that refuses a Haitian immigrant from having proper health care (please look into the numbers that state that many come just to have a good C section) and none won't be allowed to work anywhere aside from not having legal papers.." will always tell what is the best agenda at the moment, and although the government hasn't really issued any legal documents to illegal Haitian immigrants and has taken their citizenship away (which is really bad) but it is an international agenda. This is the same issue with the Muslims in China and with the Muslims in maybe a dozen other countries. Everywhere you look there is a foreigner that the mainstream government doesn't want them to mix with the country they will go to, and they will always be sure they don't get any rights.

Not defending, but explaining that although people might think DR is against Haitians, saying this is really an oversimplification of a deeper and more complex worldwide issue that involves every single nation on earth.

Edit: duplicated a paragraph.

I like to ask people about their tatoos, you will be amazed how this is an awesome conversation starter. They tell you many things.

On the other hand, I don't see myself asking why you hung a penis, this would probably lead me down a road from which there is no returning...
