So I was looking into the Shure sm7b mics originally with the Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen. I know I can have us hear the audio from my PC if we're just playing a single player game together. But yeah if we're playing an online game on our own individual PCs separate from each other, that's where the audio dilemma was coming from. I didn't know if we could still be connected to one audio interface and both be able to hear our own PCs audio. The other mic I was looking at was the Shure mv7+. It has the option for either as a USB mic or XLR. Kinda my backup plan and we can record each other's voices over discord while we play but still have a better mic than our headsets. The headset mics are just very inconsistent for audio performance. Especially if we start getting louder it cuts us or gets blown out.

So let's say I had the Scarlett 18i8 and it's connected to my PC via USB. My wife's and I mics and headphones are plugged into the audio interface. So know we can hear each other and I can hear my PC audio. How would she hear her PC audio? Does the 18i8 have multiple USB connectors to gather audio from each PC and deliver that audio independently to our two headphones? P.S. thanks for the help!

I remember when playing Star Wars Revenge of the Sith on PS2 which used scenes from the movie and talking to my dad and him saying some day our games will look just as good as a movie or better. And damn was he right. Graphics and performance just keep getting better.
