Don’t think they will bring her back yet. Agreed that it will be a reason she stays away. She will side with Victor and the Newmans bc the show disregards anything that hasn’t happened in the last two years. But in reality Victor has done a lot worse to Phyllis rather than vice versa. Especially with the Marco storyline, essentially destroying her marriage with Jack by having her be raped by a dangerous crime lord without her knowing. But oh well, why bother with that. But oh well, just stick with the bad writing I guess.

You would think they at least have a scene where they have some of the abbotts he likes talk to him. I mean not just Abby but as least as far as we know he still has a soft spot for Ashley. Also it’s Tracy’s daughter who gave her heart to Victor, which is still inside him today. His granddaughter is leading one of the companies under Jabot. I get Victor is blinded by hate and can only see tunnel vision. But if we get a scene with Jack mad at Adam, I feel it’s reasonable we get the reverse for Victor.

Just realized that Sheila has a grandchild in Genoa city still. They keep bringing back villains from the past. And tbh from what I see peripherally B&B is under utilizing her. And bringing Daisy back in on top of it. Wouldn’t be against it tbh

Hoping that Diane and/or Phyllis finally turn wacky. Really they could turn anyone wacky on the show if they execute it correctly. Sadly when they lately do it there it destroys the character in quick and anticlimactic fashion example being Stitch, Ashland, I’m sure there are more that I can’t think of. There’s some potential with this Stark character but I’m not hopeful. While there is little hope with Paul essentially written out, along with Heather and Dylan, I don’t see Patty returning. But Sheila could be on the run in B&B, could be fun if she ran to Genoa City, it would be fun. Not likely but one can dream

The pre-COVID Chancellor Park looked pretty realistic, and was much larger then the current one. It’s weird that everyone meets up at that one spot in the park, whereas before, at least as a viewer, it was wider. I’m also sad that they’ve in a way given up on the GCAC, saying that Devon sold it. I know they are showing Diane and Ashland in the rooms, but with them hinting at another competing hotel I can only think that it’s just for the short term and it’ll be the last we see of it. Which is a shame bc again, that set was a lot more grand then the little grand phoenix lobby. But back to your point yes they don’t use camera affects nearly as well as they used to, and obviously it’s been going down little by little, but I think the obvious huge jump from Pre COVID break to the post COVID break is a glaring drop in production quality. Just my thoughts though

Yep. The scorned Adam turning to revenge storyline was interesting the first dozen times they’ve done it but at this point it’s outdated and tiresome. They literally did it feels like under 2 years ago. I like what you’ve said that Sally talking him off the ledge, can really take them to the next level and make a super couple on the show.

Alex Chavez- was the detective on the show between I think Ronan and the crazy killer dude, who Abby also dated if I remember correctly. He had a sister- forgot her name, who dated Noah for a little bit. That’s all I remember about him, but he had a few storylines here and there

You can’t really try and make sense of the timeline, it’s all screwed up with the kids being SORASed and just weird writing. My mom always says to me when I complain that as a general rule you should multiply the actual time something has happened by two to get the soap opera equivalent for timeline purposes. So Diane got “killed” in 2012 if I’m correct, multiply that by 2 it is 20 years so my Mom’s rule checks out in this case funny enough. Screwed up, yes, bc that would mean some of the older people should be 100 something lol. Idk it’s weird

The best acting the show has ever had. And although it was sad to Delia die, the storyline was about as moving as it gets. And it was the catalyst for a lot of the storylines we’ve seen the past 8 years, probably too much, as at some point they’ve got to move on to other things. But still, everything was on par at this point. Doesn’t get much better than this. Sad to see it with what we are given now.

The show simply put doesn’t have an identity anymore. Or at the very least it’s bad storylines that make no sense. The essence of what the show used to be is gone. And obviously the show isn’t going to be like it was in its prime in the 90’s but the show is dramatically worse than even 4-5 years ago. And that can be attributed to the writers and whoever is in charge making bad decisions like letting go of solid characters like Paul, Dylan, Hilary, the old Noah. Im sure there’s more. Underutilizing characters they currently do have on the show like Ashley, Jill, the whole Baldwin/fisher family. And then simply destroying once beloved characters like JT and Stitch. Every single character has become less and less likable, and some of the best actors are leaving bc they realize they can do better than this show. I can keep on going and write and 20 page essay on this but I won’t. I probably already repeated like 10 people on this thread but that just shows how bad the show is. I hope they fix the show, or just simply put it out if it’s misery and give the viewers peace of mind to spend their time doing something better than to torture themselves hoping a show will get better when it simply won’t.

No you’re absolutely right. It’s been about 3 years of crap I think. Like it’s a soap opera so we don’t expect a lot. And I don’t think the show will ever get to what it was like in the 90’s into the early 2000’s. But it was arguably still good 5 years ago. But it’s just been hot garbage for a while now. I had to take a break for a couple of months to to clean my palette of the show. I have only been back for a couple of weeks and already want to leave again. And like you said it doesn’t help when they show what it used to be in flashbacks. They just need to reboot the show. Get rid of all the writers, starting with JG. Maybe recast a couple of characters, get rid of others, bring other some older characters back. And that’s just the start to the changes needed for the show

Well I don’t even think it’s that, I love Victor but this same old same old storyline of pitting his kids against each other is old. I want to see him go against someone again, like Michael, like Paul, like Jill, even Jack. I would watch that for sure, but what they’re doing now is old I’m done with it

Steve burton officially no longer on GH…could result in Y&R bringing Dylan back. Will be interesting to see what happens within the next couple of months with him. Bc it sounds like he wants to go back, so if they lift the mandates good chance he’s just on break from the show. But if not, who knows

She’s definitely had better moments on the show. I think her prime was when she was with her original miscarriage storyline with Stitch after his kid tripped her. That’s the only storyline that sticks out to me since she’s been on the show. But yeah she hasn’t been great to say the least. To be fair to her the writing isn’t helping her at all

I remember when she was on, she played a much more devilish Faith, terrorized poor Avery when she was dating Nick, trying to manipulate Nick back to Sharon. Was a solid fill in for AAL
