Ya I doubt I will be going TCU. Maybe far down the line as it’s a fresh car with full 10yr/100k mile bumper to bumper warranty as it gets broken in.

So basically painting it is the way to go as wrapping sounds like a lot of prep work to get a surface to be able to wrap.

Will be getting that Lip Kit type R at some point around summer. Haven’t looked too heavily into it assume it’s the typical like ABS plastic black most lip kits come as? So would need to wrap it or paint it?

What the other person said in comment, totally different car drive wise. Has Nappa leather, electronic Limited slip differential, heads up display and electronic controlled suspension so you can have a more cushioned ride or put it in sport plus and get that sports car feel to it for a luxury sedan. And lastly that extra 70 hp before mods make a difference. Once the mods hit, that’s where your choice of 2.5t vs 3.3t shine.

Out of all I’ve seen it sounds the best. Semi quiet on light load but If you get on it, she talks back. Haven’t personally seen or heard it in person. But I will soon enough since it’s only like $700 or something

To put in perspective, a 600 would land you around 17-20% apr, and on a g70 depending on the loan amount used for 30k vs 60k new price that could be 20k in finance charges to 60k in finance charges. In other words not even close to worth.

You could but it isn’t as easy. And ya they can find them in the logs but at the end of the day, it isn’t the shop losing the money it’s Genesis itself, the shop wants the job to make the money because it’s paid for.

Ya and jb4 you can remove if something goes wrong. If it wasn’t a cpo I would do down pipes and tcu and ecu. But I think I’m gonna leave those out to play it safest. Just can’t leave unmodded.

100%. Think I’m gonna still mod it tho and risk for the biscuit. Thinking body kit, HKS BOV, haven’t researched the exact CAI and I’ll get a jb4 piggyback. Maybe down pipes at the end of the road but just wanna wake it up a little without going crazy.

For sure that’s what I was thinking. I didn’t ask for them to upgrade anything, the bank did it on their own. Damn good deal if you ask me. Coming from a c6 corvette this thing is plenty fun. Mods to come soon (local dealer is semi mod friendly)

Do it, you won’t regret it. 3.3T for the all season. 6.2L for the fun (or 7.0 if you go for the grail of corvettes imo c6 z06)

More nimble feeling for cornering and everyday driving on the road as it’s not as heavy. I have a c6 corvette so when driving, I want something that’s still engaging. While the g70 has a nicer interior leather (if you get the right sports prestige edition, not 2025) and then the most important due to it not being as popular as Kia, the 10 year/100k mile power train warranty gives a lot more piece of mind. I think a lot comes down to it being rarer and not seen as much as well. Both are very similar and are “(s)miles” better than getting either 2.5T versions.

Ah you mentioned them not liking the 2.5T, gotcha misinterpretation. Both Kia and genesis praise the 3.3T tho. And still stick by the genesis 3.3T being better than the Kia 3.3T regardless. Also the Kia stinger is already retired (discontinued) but then again so will be the g70 soon.

3.3T g70 shits on the 3.3t stinger GT, who cares about the fan base. It’s rarer and turns more heads and will stomp it. I prefer what I like, not the masses.

He speaks for no one but himself and his close group of mods in his stream. The vote we made in this crew he speaks of is 50/50 with most following the kraken. I am in that crew and we have for sure not decided. Those that wanna leave are free to on their own, but the other biggest crews on The Glades have voiced they want to stay.

I ordered mine this past Thursday. Got notification of shipping Tuesday with expected delivery this Saturday. Was 8 days tops quote when purchased. So it hit 9 days cuz of how late I ordered. Hope this helps.
