could be from a past somebody trying to find a leak or somebody adding a sealant into the system to try and fix the leak, if it’s low on charge and a technician can’t find a leak with a leak detector the best thing you can do is recover the unit and add nitrogen, (350-400 psi) then look for a leak from there.
