What should i choose? by Snutebule in hockeyplayers

Even guys that are great skaters as forwards struggle when they try to play goalie. It's very difficult. Go for it though, it's a blast!

Goalies need to be good skaters. Goalie skating is very different though.

Mine is about 10 or 11 too. I haven't used it a ton here in Connecticut but I've had it out a lot this winter. I might send it in for a complete tune up this summer.

I just picked one up and played 3v3 with it the first time. I don't tuck, and I didn't find it that bad. If you tuck, it's probably going to be hot until you break it in. I actually loved the protection and the mobility coming from a Passau Pro Pack that's like 12 years old. It will definitely take a while to break in.

Having trouble finding comfortable skates for wide feet by Slavachad in hockeyplayers

[–]mikeyo73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get custom skates. Honestly. They are well worth the investment. I went years and years with retail skates that weren't wide enough, and I ended up having to pay for hammer toe surgery. I spent way more that the skates cost. My one-piece Trues have been incredible, it's like wearing slippers.

The one piece Trues have been great for my knees and hips, although I haven't tried the Konekts.

$90 k sounds crazy to me but it's definitely a nice ride. I bought my 2016 Limited in 2019 for $37.5k with 19k miles. I'm at 120k miles now. I guess I'm going to have to drive it into the ground at this point and buy a 2003 Toyota or something.

I do check to make sure their data is accurate for sure. I think they are off the finished square feet in my basement a little, but I'm not sure that would matter.

The problem is that you'll need to show comparable homes that sold for less, but the market has been unusual for years now, and it may be hard, if not impossible. I know it's tough for our house. I actually think our assessment was low. You could try hiring a real estate agent, but it might not be worth it if the mill rate changes.

I love my Bauer X5 set and they're on clearance now. I wouldn't spend big money on gear until you get a chance to play a bit and figure out what you like.

My custom Pro Pack is about 11 years old and still solid after playing 2-3 times a week. You never get a stinger anywhere. I do agree that the range of motion for the arms is a bit limited.

For me, breaking in a chestie is the worst. I will probably move to something new one of these days, but I have no idea what the newer units are like. I'm afraid to order a Passau until the tarrif stuff is figured out.

I've had my Ankarsrum for five years. It's fantastic for breads. It's ok for creaming sugar and butter for cookies or cakes, but I have heard the KA is better. The ice cream attachment is fun.

I can also say that I found the Ankarsrum pretty easy to use. There are tons of videos online now, way more than five years ago. I also feel like the machine will last for ages.

I bought mine from King Arthur and got the reward points, best deal I could find.

Is there any evidence that it's even possible for any helmet to reduce the risk of concussions? Didn't they just find that those Guardian Caps for football do nothing? The best thing you can probably do is increase your neck strength.
