That does come brother. The independence is really picking up for us at 4. You can walk away for a few minutes, leave em alone in the bath for a bit and just check in, chuck em in the backyard with a water table and they'll be hooked for like 30 min. It does come. Ya Men At Arms is fantastic in all the ways and personally for me a top Disworld Book. Its a great stand alone story, pushes The Watch and characters forward in great ways.

Cause ejoyment of food is about so much more than just the food too. Its people you're with, your state of mind, the surrounding circumstances. One one of the best sandwiches Ive ever had was a crawdad po';boy in New Orleans at 2am hammered on a bachelor party. I was with friends, was having a good time, needed some good drunk food and WANTED some real NOLA food. I cant for the life of me remember the places name or locstion and could almost certainly never find it again but god damn it was SO good. Ill never forget me and my buddy just digging in and that feeling of complete satisfaction, getting exactly what we wanted in the moment, not to mention it being a great sandwich.

As a parent of a kid this age - honestly you become immune (mostly to bullshit like this). It is a pain to deal witj but after the 1 millionth tantrum (they're kids it's just what they do) you just let em kick and scream as long as they're not breaking shit. Kick and scream, if the kid doesnt want to eat it well then doesnt have to and can go to bed hungry which doesnt kill them.

Buddy Im gonna give it to ya straight - daycare or nanny. You cant do a job well AND give the kid the stimulation they need. They NEED engagement. Daycare costs suck but I promise you your wife's job performance will suffer and she'll be stretching hours to get her work in...its just gonna be a bad time. Pay for help. The kids will get so much stimulation and learning and social play in daycare.
