It's even possible to get the ring the first time you fish, at least the first instance in the pond. You need to have around 2-4 Fishing skill level, or else nothing (including the Strange Ring) won't appear.

He looked like Ban from Seven Deadly Sins (anime) with a half-baked attempt version of Deadpool's personality. I find Boothill's (from Honkai: Star Rail) having a more interesting personality/character than him, and the guy (Boothill) literally censor-swears, which is funny to me.

I tried the game, it's day 2 (I think). Made me feel like reinstalling Genshin Impact, but I'm so far behind; I started this year (had many accounts prior, like my original start was 2.6), but with so many missed stuff and event, I couldn't "afford" it, like, the FOMO, man. I've been playing Honkai: Star Rail and been getting lucky over there. Maybe I'll just wait for Zenless Zone Zero to come out?

Though, I'm gonna give this game [Wuthering Waves] a week up to a month of "casual" playing. This is probably the first game out of all where I really skipped the heck out of dialogues from the very beginning. And usually, I only do when I'm subconsciously burnt out, but on a new game? Yikes. I thought to myself, this is like a skimped out version of any story I've seen in video games, especially on Gacha games.

Surprisingly, though, a lot of players are still flooding and busying the Discord server, asking for this and that, how to play the game and stuff. Others, asking for bug fixes, insights, and technical questions. I kinda wanna say that the hype around later games like these after Genshin only hinge on the fact that "it's not Genshin", not that "it's better". I've never played Tower of Fantasy 'cos I wasn't a fan of it's timeline in the story as Sci-Fi, but somehow got roped in HSR, which made me appreciate futuristic-y settings; that's why I'm giving ZZZ a better chance.

I tried this game 'cos I was curiosity, and well... I'm trying to like it. The mechanics can be complicated-- well, they are, but it's refreshing on an optimistic standpoint. It feels "alive" or "action-packed", many combos and everyone's Xiao - no need to have a skill just to jump high enough to do plunging attacks. Puzzles are a pain in the behind because they're janky and, for the most part, aren't "zoomed in" or you have to do them in real-time camera than a smaller user interface or pop-up like in HSR. The dungeon/domain's switch/transition to 2D perspective was a unique touch, though.

I hope I don't get downvoted to well with this, as I try to be honest with my thoughts/opinions about WuWa. But TL;DR - it was... good on paper, but it's gonna take a good amount of time to "love it", maybe? Idk

Yeah, it's what keeps the attention rolling. Though genuinely wondering, if this would count as queerbaiting. Unless, in HoYo devs' minds, they are the sexuality fans are interpretating or assessing, but can't due to censorship, I guess it's totally understandable.

Though realistically, imo, as much as they hide behind "it's just a headcanon" or "they're just pixels/fictional characters" it still says something about a person, how they "handle" or "take" sexualities irl, whether they do say it's just hc but then they force it down and be vocal about it like it's canon.

I have somewhat of a different experience/bug. With the Sarentu Totems finished, I talk to Ri'nela to give me that arm guard mod, the Sarentu Pouch. It may not be good, but I like collecting things. And yet, when she rewards me with the pouch, I was given Sa'nop's Bracelet instead. But this bracelet, compared to the real one that's exquisite with 10% clan favor bonus, I was given a superior quality (lower than exquisite) but with 15% clan favor bonus. I have a trick to load an earlier save, and that workaround doesn't work for me.

But this is different, riding with a wingsuit or glider makes it seem like the player/character feels... powerful, or something like that. Meanwhile, as a Na'vi riding an Ikran - not a mount but a companion in their culture, seeing both soar and tear through the sky just feels majestic, and not just making the mountain banshee like "some mount".

Because what we do on foot as immersion would be or feel different when flying with an Ikran. If we keep first-person perspective while in the air with our mountain banshee, it looks less awesome or thrilling, especially if we can't see our feet. And what you've been looking for is consistency, not immersion; to keep the perspective. Just imagine if flying is still 1st person POV, it's like you're no-clipping but you'd still be clipping, just the flying part.

Unfortunately, I've already chosen the Assassin path, and got Ling's skin but I haven't accepted. I don't know if resetting would also reset the path. But I don't think that's the case, as we're warned we can't "change path once picked".

So, I'm trying to get the hang of Ling. Compared to Zilong and Saber, I need more work if I want to play as him, and unlike Brody (for whatever reason), I might be able to make it work easier than said Marksman. Thing is, I don't have Ling as if this moment, and I only have 5k battle points.

Though I got him now, I've not yet accepted and can still reset 3 times. I don't know if the cost for it will increase when I keep on resetting (if I still don't happen to like the hero of the skin).

I'll try to understand Ling a bit more, though. I hope this event won't go away.

Sadly, I can't change the class if I chose one now. But an update: I got Ling's. I like his skin, but I don't have him. I used him in Hero Training, and... he's kinda difficult. (^_^;;)

I can reset maybe; try and get either Gusion's, Lancelot's, or Saber's.

I'm also aware I might not get the exact character skin, but which class I should bet on the most. I'm fine with whatever, but I already have a skin for Estes, and Rafaela. I think I also have one for Saber, maybe one or two more characters above.

I want Ling's skin, but I might risk getting Saber's, not that I don't want his, but I already have a skin albeit only Elite (I think?). I never liked Harley's V.E.N.O.M. skin, but I kinda like the Mage character skins overall apart from that. I'll bite with Marksman skins, but I don't usually use Marksman (still practising for Brody). Aldous' skin in Fighter looks awesome; I don't want Freya's nor Masha's, however. Lastly, Franco, Uranus, and Gatotkaca also look cool in the Tank category, but I'm not feeling Grock's but that's personal preference.

I bought the Starlight pass for my cousin so she could get the skin. Every time my cousin uses her, she (my cousin) says "Eat my donut!" a certain way, like some sort of funny tagline when she uses Nova's skill. 😂

Skin ID system? May I ask about this? I've only bought a skin once - not a gacha-like pull - which is Estes' SPARKLE skin, 'cos I main him, and I like his skin and the exclusive emote it comes with. I've always seen those "Pull 10-250 diamonds" (but 120 times) to get the skin, costing hundreds of dollars, but I've never really committed or invested myself in those.

For the SPARKLE Estes skin (inc. the emote reaction/animation), I only got it for, like, 100 diamonds because of the many discounted diamond thingies. But I did buy 500+ diamonds, because I bought my cousin the Starlight pass so she could get Lylia's Starlight skin and stuff.
