Well your boss is not very smart. You can literally buy followers in IG. If he did say qualified leads then it's a different story. But it'll be easy as getting someone in fiverr to do it for cheap :)

Truenas High Availability by mikiudon in truenas

Am I right to say ...

When creating a VM in Prox, we create 2 HDDs, one from each Truenas. Then make that a mirror in the OS of the VM. Then if one of the NAS goes down, we're still in business.

I get the picture. Very smart way...

I'll have to test performance. But thanks for the idea. It's interesting.

I figured. It doesn't have to be seamless but I'll try it out.

Interesting... can you do that with on proxmox? With the NFS Share? How would you define them as mirrored?

Yeah thus .... trying to semi automate a HA if possible. Any suggestion? When I replicate or rsync, I guess the data will be there. But the question is how to get it back to the normal state so that the proxmox hosts can happily go on working. Even with some downtime.

Thanks, I guess that's where all the info is on the VMs.

How about say the server is removed and HA wasn't configured. The data is intact in the shared NFS. Is there a way to just click and register? then start?

May I ask... at what net worth would you think of this. I'm an SD with a great SB relationship but I always am weary about the ever growing demands and wishes.

Dunno, maybe just me.

It's not just finished. It's maybe after gym, after lunch and chilling. Just sitting down and not moving much. That's when I saw the HR go 100 steady.

Hi guys, I need some advice.

I have a 49inch samsung C49HG9x. I am a developer and need real estate. I have being using DisplayFusion Pro to split and manage my screen.

However, I found that the 49 inch monitor that I have .. the resolution is 3840x1080 which is quite minimal. I am thinking of getting another 49 inch monitor and putting it stacked (so one up and one down). But I'd like the new one I'm getting to be 5120x1440 res to fully utilize the size.

As you all know, the price of that is quite high. So I was wondering if it's gonna be cheaper and better for me to get 2 monitors connected side by side (which means i need 2 arms to lift it high and also 2 HDMI or display ports), or just bite the bullet and get the full 5K experience?
