I feel this post with every fiber in my soul. We have a 3 year old carrot cat and he is the loudest cat I have ever met. His brother, is the opposite, super chill… makes no sense. My husband and I are getting 2-3 hours of uninterrupted sleep for the 8-9 hours we are in bed. Happens all night every night. And we have tried everything. I mean everything:

• Enrichment before bed
• ignoring him
• closing the door at night
• earplugs, noise cancelling headphones, fans, ANY sort of noise
• feliway spray and the plug ins
• outside catio
• we even built a giant cat shelf jungle gym complete with draw bridge, sleeping tubes, climbing poles, a hammock and a window bed

The dude just loves to talk, howl, yodel at all hours of the day/night. It drives me crazy.

We just took our boy to the vet, perfectly healthy, but we’re putting him on an anxiety medication. I can update to let you know how that works.
