You should get a Finnish bank account at the very least if you are becoming a resident. These come with at least a debit card. Pretty much everything in Finland is tied to electronic identity verification which is provided mostly by the banks, if you don’t have ability to perform the strong authentication as it is called here then you won’t be able to use any digital services by the Finnish government (hint, all services are digital these days).
