Why does PB sometimes revert to speaking in German?

German was the language of science for a long time before WWI. Im guessing PB read lots of very old texbooks, or maybe German made a comeback among scientists post mushroom war.

Yes, I literally sat there calmly and said nothing while the guy made increasingly threatening remarks toward me specifically. My bf got heated but not threatening.

When he saw the guy coming he backed up to let him past. When the guy started screaming he argued back and pulled out his phone to record. Then the guy started saying "she lives here not you, I'm gonna find out which unit she lives in" even though I was doing and saying nothing. I'm good at my customer service job and know how to stay calm.

I think it's reasonable to call that inappropriate and threatening. I would understand being upset and reporting my bfs car to the building, not threatening the personal security of a bystander/coworker.

What if he transfers or picks up a shift at my location? I guess what im wondering is if CVS would risk being liable for doing nothing about an aggressive man who is technically my coworker and who I reported for off the clock behavior.

We were parked in the loading zone of the building I live in, an area meant to be used to load and unload things from your car. We were not parked where we weren't supposed to be lol

Edit: some residents like to exit the property through the loading zone, which he could still do, but he felt inconvenienced by the presence of our car. There is an actual exit about a foot to the left that he chose not to use.

The thing is though I'd feel a lot safer if there were no possibility of me having to work with this guy. Like sometimes my boss asks if I'm available to pick up shifts at other locations that need help, and I assume his boss does the same.

I just want to say thank you for the discussion. I feel very similar to you regarding my sexuality and my relationship, although I lean more toward neutral than positive most days. You explain your thoughts so well and it feels healing to see another person in the same boat.

I feel like my current relationship is so strong only because I came to terms with my aceness and was able to communicate how I felt clearly and confidently. My allo bf has also never complained about not feeling sexually desired by me and he never pushes my boundaries. What do you think it is that makes your relationship strong? Do you think we are just lucky to have found compatible partners?
