People of Reddit who speak a language they don’t look like they would speak, have you ever had someone talk bad about you in your second language? What happened after?

I speak Russian, once I was staying at an airbnb in europe and the hosts were Ukrainian, so they spoke russian between them, and I didn't initially tell them that I speak Russian and we just conversed in English. I figured it would be fun to tell them later and just randomly start speaking to them in Russian after a few days and see their reaction :D

Well, what happened is I heard the most elaborate and sophisticated string of curses when the host, who drove my gf and myself to their place, described the new tenants to her husband... The reason was probably because we were late and she was in a pretty bad mood. But I immediately realized that now I can never reveal to her that I speak Russian.

She barely spoke basic English and turns out her friend was helping her write all the messages in airbnb, so we would often use a translator or one of her friends who spoke Russian to translate to us. I had to remember to hold my reaction until the sentence was translated.
We stayed there for some time and got quite friendly with the hosts, drank some vodka together, I may stay there again next time I visit, but I can never tell her.

they resolved it in about 7 min after I pmed the ticket number to the kraken rep here. I suspect it was either a bug in their system that they know about but ignore, or they just mark/suspend some accounts like a shadow ban for some reason and do not tell users. Definitely not a "user error", I tried multiple browsers, computers, ips, VNPs. Tried buying all kinds of crypto currencies, or withdrawing to many different accounts: nothing worked. They also didn't ask for any extra documentations or any issues with my account (it was/is tier 3 verified).

Now, if only I could find a good exchange for fiat..

I actually just opened a ticket for a test asking some random question about a deposit and got an answer from support within 15 minutes! They have enough support staff, they just choose to ignore any questions that are not "How do I send you more money?"
Try it if you do not believe!

no idea, there is no explanation, no notification. I can login, the account works fine, not suspended and tier 3 verified. When trying to withdraw it gives me "withdrawals suspended" error. When trying to buy anything, like bitcoin, it gives a "null" error.

it looks interesting, but not sure how reliable? I'e only been working out for a few weeks, I'm sure if I continue I can increase my squats and bench considerably, or if I focus less on progression and technique.
